But, but, but...It wasn't long ago that more than one hillary democrat exclaimed, almost in unison, that voter and election fraud was a right wingnut tin foil hat conspiracy theory.

I think memory is a good thing and would serve serious minded americans. I know it sure serves me very well.

With that noted, of course fraud exists, as well as dirty tricks, given what is at stake in elections and then the very nature of power. It corrupts, or so the wise old saw tells us.

We should have our election system reformed so that it can be monitored by entities like the Carter Center, given you really cannot trust humans striving for power, and given how polarized we are, where moderation gets one accused of being a RINO or DINO. And given if a politician's mouth is moving, more than likely he or she is lying through their well trained mouths.

After the conspiracy that happened in Brooklyn, purging voters who likely would have cast a primary vote for Sanders, along with other prosecutions of people within the election system over the years, we need reform and set up as I mentioned.

You must realize that your post (and the lack of nearly any coherent discussion by a Republican on this thread about this specific situation) is further evidence of their point, right?

Unless you think "one district out of 13...next" is talking about it, lol.

There is evidence of voter fraud and manipulation conducted by Democrats, and you just wave it all off.

The thread on Vote Harvesting pointing to one of them. And you just wave it off because nobody has filed a lawsuit. Reverse the results and actions, have it be Republican landslides, and Republican vote harvesting, and you would be posting screeds from Think Progress, Vox, and your long list of Progressive website screaming about fraud. But you can't flip that switch can you? You can't see the other side of the coin.

An investigation regarding the vote in this one district in NC is going on, far from arguing it didn't happen, rational people are letting the investigation take place, and are awaiting the results.

But you want to turn that one district into proof all Republicans are into voter fraud Nationally.

That's not ever a rational argument. That's just desperation.

If you want to see a clear cut evidence of Republicans who don't want to talk about this issue, then look no further than the leader of the Republican party and the person who is always the most eager to launch into accusations before an investigation takes place. So, what has Trump tweeted about NC-9th?

Ya know, now that he has actual evidence of voter fraud instead of that "evidence" born of being a sore loser like his allegation of 3 million illegal votes costing him the popular vote in 2016, the rapid clothes changers that cost him the single largest defeat in US history in 2018, or the vote harvesting thread that cost nearly every Republican house member to lose?

And now the allegations continue to pile up - regardless of whether you are mature enough to recognize a valid news source as valid.

    https://www.cnn.com/2018/12/03/poli...ee-ballot-investigation-house-race/index.html

When do you think Trump will tweet about NC-9th? Now that he has a valid example of voter fraud affecting an election?

There is actual evidence of voter fraud in other parts of the country done by Democrats. I don't see you screaming about it, or the leadership of the New Democratic Party for that matter.

What is there for the President to say? One District in one State.

You're desperation is getting out of control again.

I get the feeling that there are some people who would only believe it if the Washington Examiner, Bretibart or FoxNews carried the story and I'd wager that those versions of the story would find a way to blame Hillary ;)

Are you serious with this "what is there for the President to say?" The man tweets about the most insignificant issues all the time and he frequently makes accusations without waiting for any investigation. And this is a NATIONAL SEAT IN THE CONGRESS WHERE ACTUAL VOTER FRAUD OCCURRED. And it isn't like the man has never taken up the issue of voter fraud - it is a regular talking point for him. Are you seriously arguing that he should not care about that issue?

Do not kid yourself or me. We both know that the only reason that you think he is not talking about this issue and the only reason that you do not think that he should is because it is credible evidence of voter fraud committed by a republican. It is the exact same reason that you personally are not talking about this issue and instead keep making vague whataboutism references to "other voter fraud committed by democrats."

Unlike you, I don't accept trump's bullshit when he says things like 3 million illegal votes cost him the popular vote in 2016 or that people were rapid changing in their cars and that's why house republicans sufffered the single worst defeat in US history in 2018. So where is this "actual evidence of voter fraud in other parts of the country done by Democrats?" What district, specifically, did they supposedly influence?

Of course you don't believe there is widespread voter fraud going on. You're a Progressive who is attached to the propaganda that you read and post.

There is not rational reason to reject efforts to improve the validity of voting in the US. The Voter ID objections the NDP engages in is a massive racist insult to Blacks and other the NDP claims would be harmed. Geeze, go ask them if they have trouble getting ID.

With these extremely close elections, the fraud that has always been there become more significant. News reporters have uncovered fraud in California, with thousands of dead people casting votes. It's been reported, and I've linked to those articles dozens of times.

What happens? I get attacked by Progressives who claim it's no big deal.

But here we are, one District out of 13, and you're blowing a gasket because people are waiting to see the outcome.

And your doing that while dismissing what happened in California.

How can anyone take your argument seriously?

I love it when you vaporize your CV and credibility by speaking in absolutes. I especially enjoy seeing that destruction evidenced when it involves you thinking you can read my mind.

And using bold text just serves to underscore the absence of any degree of objectivity.

I've talked about it MrTLegal. I've stated there appears to be a belief voter fraud may have taken place in one District out of 13 in North Carolina. I'm sure you've seen me state that.

Unlike other who react to dog whistles and make declarations from them, I'll wait to see what the investigation uncovers. If there was fraud, the proper penalties should be issued.

I do find it interesting you've convicted based on accusations and reported evidence, but when the situation is reversed, you wave it off as nothing.

Why and to whom is a tiny Republican gain in one county considered suspicious, while huge Democrat gains in multiple counties are not?

Because the former is associated with actual and credible evidence of voter fraud that is directly resulting in the likely do-over for that election while the later is not.

I see your point. But if I were being attentive to irregularities, I'd take a look at the multiple counties with up to a 25 point swing. Bottom line though is eliminating fraud wherever it is. So to that end is to which we should all be inclined.

It was the Democrats who tried to have the military absentee ballots thrown out in Florida in 2000.

It was the Democrats who cried and protested when convicted felons votes weren't allowed to be counted in Florida in 2000.

It was the Democrats in Florida who said that a vote for Pat Buchanan should be counted as a vote for Al Gore in 2000.

25 point swings are interesting, but when they exist across the board, that is evidence of a wave election.

And the fact that Braden county did not respond in even remotely similar fashion (going more to the right by a small percentage) is what tipped people to the irregularity here.

hate to say it, but this is gonna become a trend, sure dems will get caught doing it too, we need to require all absentee ballots be signed by a notary public

the good news is we were able to catch it, the bad news is now what do we do that we know republicans cheated to win by about 900 votes?

So, you do agree with my above statement, " ... all American elections are bogus. 'Democracy' in the U.S. is only a pipe dream".

Not to pre-judge, but after all the fake hysterics about voter fraud by Republicans, the evidence here may require that they resort to Cesar "Fake Flag!" Seyoc ploys, and blame Democrats for GOP perfidy.

I do know since the Democrats in California legalized voter fraud with ballot harvesting, California's elections have no integrity.
