OK so is this story dead, and can now be retired to the voluminous Fake News Archive in the Trump Presidential Library?

 

Most definitely.

But I find it intriguing that NOBODY who bought into this dangerous nonsense has acknowledged they were once again caught hook, line & sinker by yet another TDS clickbait story about the ongoing grilling of the witch hunt nothing burger.

 

Well to be fair, that's been true of every Russian Collusion fake story that's come out over a year and a half. It comes out as a blockbuster, "We got'em! Trump's going to be perp-walked!" Then the sources start to look shady, and then nothing. It vanishes from coverage, and no one who swore this was the end for Trump, ever acknowledges that they were had and they reset to prepare for the next fake story.

From the article, an Ecuadoran journalist is the alleged source of the story, but I still suspect *intelligence.*

A government ministry under Ecuador’s previous government accused Villavicencio of fabricating documents; Villavicencio’s supporters call him a crusading journalist who exposed corruption under former president Rafael Correa.

 

I didn't know Assange was Russian.

 

Sounds like about as solid a source as for the phoney dossier.

 

Nope, all such stories and all of the follow-on stories should be archived into the Presidential Library as sets, then copied and sent to every public library in the USA.

Well you claimed that the US was going to extradite Assange. I've no doubt that that the Ecuadorian embassy is staked out; all embassies are watched, but I've seen no evidence that the US is involved in this.

 

They're releasing the video of Manafort walking into the Ecuadorian embassy --- any second now --- and then they're releasing the video of Manafort walking out.

 

They do presumably have charges filed. That was established last week.

 

I think what they established was that there were rumors to that effect.
