So sad to see what became of the scouts once homosexuals got their claws dug into them.

 

Being a scout is like having had Daniel Boone, George Washington, and other solid teachers mentoring you as a young boy. A very good experience.

This by the LDS. One reason i believe for the hostility vs the Boy Scouts is that the Mormon church was the largest supporter of Boy Scouts.

LDS members made up about 1/3 of the scouts and more than 1/3 of their $. Another 1/3 were Catholics. Virtually ALL of the LDS members are out, and most of the Catholics. Another big part of the scouts are the friends of the LDS and Catholic members who are leaving in droves too.

One of the most upset organizations are the Girl Scouts who were not consulted about the girl memberships before it happened.

The Boy Scouts got Leftwing political and this is the result.

 

I see you make a logical fallacy that pedophiles are gay or that if a person is gay, said person is a pedophile. Can you please point out definitively that the perpetrators are gays? No you can't. And by the way, it would be helpful to do some research so you don't spout utter nonsense.

Are boys not male? The Catholic Church scandals, for example, aren't pedophilia issues, they are gay issues, as almost all the perps and victims are male.

If being attracted to men means you are attracted to little boys then being attracted to women means you are attracted to little girls. That's silly and disturbing, but that's the logic you presented. That's not a projection you are seeing; it is a reflection. It is called a counter-example. Little girls are female, so (again, sorry, but this is the bizarre logic you are trying to use) the fact that you are heterosexual must mean you are attracted to little girls.

I was a boy scout, tiger to eagle. Just the connections I've made with people are worth it. Some of my best friends I met in scouts, I had great times growing up. And I've had opportunities just within people I knew.

Im still friends with my fellow scouts, their families, etc. Its hard to describe unless you have gone through it.

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the current state of BSA.

 

And none have the same impact as the BSA. An Eagle Scout rank is well known. Others.....not so much.

 

Well being a homosexual myself I kind of like that they are accepting but I think that should be on a unit basis. Some units that would be appropriate for others it wouldn't be.

As far as I know it's always been open to girls in the explorers and venture scouting.

The state of it currently I really think has more to do with the Mormon church stepping back from it. Good bad or indifferent that is going to change it.
