The Southern District of NY is investigating Trump's inauguration contributions. The $108 million under scrutiny was the largest amount of money raised for an inauguration. The SDNY and also the Mueller investigation are questioning whether funds were raised by foreign interests in order to gain access to the administration.

Federal prosecutors in Manhattan are investigating whether President Trump’s 2017 inaugural committee misspent some of the record $107 million it raised from donations, people familiar with the matter said.

The criminal probe by the Manhattan U.S. attorney’s office, which is in its early stages, also is examining whether some of the committee’s top donors gave money in exchange for access to the incoming Trump administration, policy concessions or to influence official administration positions, some of the people said.

Giving money in exchange for political favors could run afoul of federal corruption laws. Diverting funds from the organization, which was registered as a nonprofit, could also violate federal law.

In a NY Post article from Dec. 6th, 2017,
Flynn allegedly said on Trump’s first day that Russian sanctions would be ‘ripped up’

    https://nypost.com/2017/12/06/flynn...ay-that-russian-sanctions-would-be-ripped-up/

As President Trump delivered his inaugural address, national security adviser Michael Flynn texted a former business partner that a private nuclear power project that would require lifting sanctions on Russia was “good to go,” a senior House Democrat said in a letter released Wednesday.

Quoting a confidential informant, Rep. Elijah Cummings, the top Democrat on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, wrote that Alex Copson, managing partner of ACU Strategic Partners, told the informant that Flynn would see that the sanctions on Moscow were “ripped up.”

No stone is left unturned to bring down the president! Disgusting all this tatter-tailing from adults. If they want to find fault, they should look in a slightly different direction... towards the ME.

The proof is irrefutable and the Justice Dept has all it needs right now. But this is a continuing breaking story. There will be much more that is going to shake the White House to its foundation.

When there is evidence of wrongdoing why should it be ignored?

You mean the investigations that have found that virtually the entirety of Trumps inner circle are criminals?

This is just the very tip of the iceberg, there's 90% of information still hidden, but it will all come out.

I mean that we are becoming desensitized to all the "This time its for real" investigations. All I see is Dems and Reps fighting with each other saying "My criminals are better than your criminals"

I hope this holds you over til tomorrows outrage.

The Hillbots are playing a VERY dangerous game here.

If the witch hunt goes too far, Trump may be correct in saying civil war might result...

I have absolutely NO outrage at all, that happened in November 2016. What I have now is hope that this country can survive this.

The dangerous game was played by the NY mob boss Trump when he cozied up to Putin to get his hotel built in Moscow. That's where the game became dangerous for our country.

The trumpbots completely overlook Individual-1's complicitness with everything Putin does and his complete unwillingness to utter even one critical word about Putin. Individual-1 has forgotten about Syria and doesn't seem to have a moment to spare for Ukraine, but he just loves meeting and hobnobbing with Putin and proclaiming how well they get along, and of course arguing on Putin's behalf against our own intelligence agencies and news reporting. Ditto Individual-1's contemptible statements about Moe Bin Salman and Saudi Arabia in general in light of his already years-long bitter feud with the REAL news media.

It's all about MONEY for him. He's only got a head for wheeling and dealing and making money, mainly for himself. We could not have a more depraved, amoral, selfish, incompetent person in the office of President. There is just no excuse for him or those who support him.

    AND.....

Michael Flynn said he discussed a 'grand bargain' with Kislyak where the U.S. would end or ease sanctions and this was during the campaign! The discussions were how the U.S. and Russia could get together on policies on what to do in Syria and how to proceed with Iran and Russia would help get Trump elected and in return have the sanctions on Russia removed. Two Flynn associates have stated that he was having conversations that involved these grand policy matters. All this was going on while Russia was hacking the election.

Sanctions relief that's what has been behind the hacking, the compromising of Flynn, Trump and everyone else, like Manafort, Gates, Cohen, Kushner, etc. When Maria Butina was called on by Trump to ask the first question to him during that convention in Las Vegas in 2015, it was all about removing the sanctions on Russia. That's not a coincidence.

The list of his treasonous words and deeds is practically endless. I seem to recall he was actually entertaining handing an American over to Putin's goons at Helsinki, for instance. He has said and done so many deplorable things, it's damned hard to remember them all!

If anyone missed this interview with Harris Faulkner from Fox with Trump today, here's the interview. An ex-Republican Congressman commented that "fish usually flop around on the deck of a boat after it's been caught and that exactly what Trump did in this interview."
