During the "Soviet tenure" when the other poster alleges that the non existent Alqaeda fought with the US in Afghanistan. The 80s for those of you who hadn't been born yet.
You are not at all real. You went straight to using ad homs and name calling because you can't or won't answer the same question I asked four times in a row. I simply asked you to present evidence that the Taliban was a "direct threat" and what you meant by that? This remains unanswered. I further pointed out that your repeated comments about AQ was misplaced because that terrorist outfit is a Saudi funded and directed operation demonstrably and repeatedly used by both the US and UK for the purposes of proxy "boots on the ground" in Afghanistan, Bosnia and Syria. You belatedly acknowledged you knew this already. So your problem, it seems, is the inability to justify your statement that the Taliban is a "direct threat" and rather than acknowledge that you choose to go the school-yard route and begin name calling. The point is that there are plenty of posters on this forum that prefer to go the ad hom route of debate - to camouflage their lack of knowledge and/or their inability to debate sensibly - and my preference is to ignore them. Mud slinging may be your preferred technique but it is not mine. So either answer at the fifth time of asking what do you mean by the "direct threat" from the Taliban that you previously stated - or just shove off and bother someone else.
Well, Al Qaida did exist and was 'created' by the US. But they didn't fight "with" the US. They fought the Russians as American proxies.
Day is night and night is day. Newspeak at its best. Anyway, for those who haven't clue about actual history: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Qaeda For those who don't entirely trust Wiki (and I'm one of them): http://freewestmedia.com/2017/05/27/zbigniew-brzezinski-creator-of-al-qaeda-dies/ Below is Brezinski, the then US National Security Adviser meeting with Osama bin-Laden in Afghanistan circa 1979: And: http://thirdworldtraveler.com/Afghanistan/Afghanistan_CIA_Taliban.html I could go on. There's a massive amount of material available on the US connection to bin-Laden and al-Qaeda.
No, you ran away rather than debate, I'm glad to see you back. Of course we utilised Islamic fundamentalists to fight the evil empire, so what, we used the USSR to defeat the Axis, doesn't mean the Cold War wasn't real. AQ were in Afghanistan, they were attacking us with some of the most devastating terrorist attacks in history, George W told them to give it up and they refused.
And it's all irrelevant, no one is saying the west didn't sponsor AQ to fight the Sovs, but they attacked us too.
To know what is relevant.. You must also be able to perceive the irrelevant I have folks who tell me Democrats are evil because of Chappaquidick.. Liberalism may be a mental disorder.. People with "Whataboutism" make my condition worse
"Whataboutism". Now that's a useful word. For years I've been trying to express myself concisely. Now I know how.
Good Lord.. Now the media has made AOC the acronym for Alexandra Ocasio Cortez She is a great useful idiot.. I agree she is whacked.. but whacky is fun... Isn't it?? I mean.. look at Trump... 70% marginal tax rate is just a poke with a stick.. nothing more.. I am surprised AOC is selling herself short with a cheap trick already.. I might be liberal.. but I am not bat shyt crazy... yet... I hope...
Thank you, John Oliver! So the next time the subject of Washington's lie of WMD's, illegal invasion of Irak, the rape - torture- and murder of innocent Irakis is met by "What about Hitler and the Nazis?" I will know how to better respond.
everyone says this is one the first photoshops ever made Something happened.. Not everyone was in the vacuum of Ronnie's neural network
Yes, I was a matelot, but these are insane conspiracy theories, the US didn't create AQ and use them as a false flag to justify its' foreign policy, that is tinfoil hat thinking.
