What underdogs you like this weekend? What road team has the best chance? Colts, Cowbiys, Chargers, or Eagles?
Cowboys, IMO. I'm rooting for the Colts though cause if they win, and the Pats win tomorrow, then the Pats would have home field for AFC champ. I have a strange feeling the cowgirls will win their game. Idk why
NFL broadcasters tonight discussed several times that this is the 50 the anniversary of the NY Jets upset win over Baltimore in Super Bowl III https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports...sore-subject-in-baltimore-20190111-story.html Folks in Baltimore are still moaning about that one. But as far as I'm concerned they have no complaint as they beat our Giants in '58.
Anybody got an upset next week. KC (vs Pats) and Saints (vs Rams) are each -3 home faves. Anybody got Pats or Rams winning next week?
My Eagles magical run is over. I'm hoping Wentz fully rests, gets himself ready for the 2019 campaign, and we retool with youth and athleticism around our franchise QB.
Yeah, lol the Browns though(Mayfield's decent, but he doesn't have the same kind of velocity that these other QB's do.) It's like they took the third/fourth best QB as 1st overall. Never change Cleveland, you're helping out the entire NFL.
Mayfield would have been 1st overall if I were picking a team. Hell, he got them 6X as many wins as their last 4 QBs. Darnold and Rosen wouldn't be able to do that for Cleveland.
I'm pro these big, tall athletic QB's more. Of course, as an Eagles fan I'm grossly biased but I think Mayfield's gonna peak as a good NFL starting QB.
Mayfield brings passion to Cleveland. That division isn't great too so I think they have a shot to take it next year
Seriously. I would be so happy to see it. Two of the best QBs matched up in their 40's. I know Brees wants a shot a Brady for the title. However Brady has to get past that incredibly good KC team IN arrowhead. That's going to be a massive test.
It is all about avoiding turnovers and whether Mahomes chokes on the biggest stage. And, speaking of rematches, imagine the craziness that a KC/Rams rematch could elicit. After the 54-51 game. Vegas would have to set the over/under in the low 70s. Still, the dream matchup is Pats/Saints.
