Could someone help me a bit here if you don't mind. When you're thread all of a sudden just has a dash where the number of replies should be and shows an N/A then a blue arrow for watched thread what does that mean? Has it been shut down? Thanks in advance.
Anyone?????? You can still post in the thread but it seems inactive does not report activity and sinks in the posting order.
I don't really know E, I assume it's "not available"... but why I don't know, closed threads usually show a lock.
Was it transferred to another section..you should get an alert from the mods if this happens..whats the name of the thread, and section did you post it in....
That can happen when you start a thread on a subject that was already the subject of a previous thread and the second thread is merged into the thread (on the same subject) that preceded it. So the second thread will show up with that blue arrow and you will be directed to the merged thread.
Thanks for your reply. It' s weird. The thread appears dead and only shows two pages but you can still post and there are over 100 replies. Strange things just happen here, I guess It would be nice to figure that one out though
Nope, no transfer and no alert. I've had a thread deleted for too much cut and paste but I received an alert for that. The post is called " she's running" about Tulsi Gabbard and should be on page 2 of current affairs. I don't even know if people are seeing the same thing I am as no one commented even while they were still posting there.
Maybe that's what happened. Or maybe just a one-off for some reason. The folks who were posting have moved on to other things so no biggie. It was strange though so I was wondering if this was common or happened to any one else. It happened to one of Cerebus's threads at the same time. Oh well, mine is not to question, I guess Thanks again for your replies.
Just an update. I got a notice this morning that it was moved from current events to opinions and beliefs - which is kind of strange but at least explains what happened. Thanks again for your replies all.
