We just need to get 1M plus on a hunger strike for the second amendment to not aplap to the states. Give is safety or give us death. Nope. The Constitution is the law of the land, and cannot be changed without the Amendment process which requires a supermajority of the American people to pass. The Courts cannot ignore the Constitution (as much as they try). If they overturned the Constitution without just cause you would see a Civil War in this country, which would kill more than your proposed "hunger strike".

Your comment about how you "of course" would not starve yourself like the sheep you expect to be following you just shows that you don't have the character to lead any kind of substantive political movement.

The united states constitution is still a valid law that is on the books, therefore it is legally binding to all government actions, be them federal, state, or city level. It does not matter if it is believed by yourself or anyone else if it is outdated, it is still binding and still in effect. Nothing short of an effort at repealing the united states constitution will ever change that, therefore no complaining about such will amount to anything except empty whining.

 

The district of columbia not being a state makes no difference in the matter, as the legal precedent in Heller is still binding regardless. The McDonald ruling established that the Heller precedent applies not only to the individual states, but also individual cities, just like the city of Chicago.

There is, quite literally, not one single square centimeter in the entire united states territory where the Heller and McDonald precedents are not valid.
