With 2 Minor Changes, I could see an opening for a deal.

1) Trump makes a Nationally-televised address admitting that "Mexico will pay for the Wall" was a LIE.

2) Extend the DACA and TPS protection for 10 Years (instead of 3).

 

Not over 5 billion plus dollars. We've have the government shut down over 5 billion dollars out of the 4 trillion dollars that will be spent this year. That is 0.0125%. Less than two one-hundredth of a single percent.

If TDS dems chose to negotiate in earnest, they'd probably easily compromise with Trump on DACA/TPS protection for 5-7 years and Dems admitting that Trump's "WINNING" promise has proven to be absolutely true

But Pelosi won't negotiate, she owns the shutdown now and prefers to screw the country, the DACA/TPS people, the government workers than do the right thing and end the shutdown with everyone actually winning for a change.
