All recreational drug use should be legal with appropriate laws governing distribution and consumption, like alcohol.

It puts criminals out of business, it stops users resorting to crime and reduces crime and enforcement costs by massive amounts while generating billions in tax revenue, some of which can be diverted to drug education (prevention and/or responsible use )and addiction disease treatment (abuse cure).
