I have mixed emotions about punishing illegal immigrants for trying to find a job.

 

I look at it as taking a job away from legal residents and lowering the wage scale

Plus these people bring their whole family here and mooch off our welfare system and other public institutions

 

You guys don’t beleive in welfare systems. Why should it matter to you ?

 

I think able-bodied Americans should work instead of mooching off the welfare system

But these aren’t Americans....they can’t collect off federal systems if they aren’t legal. Illegals cannot get unimployment benefits., they don’t qualify for Medicare, Medicaid or SS. After that, it’s whatever local homeless shelters or soup kitchens that locals provide. You’re just making stuff up.

 

Then let’s get more dogs instead of walls that drug dealers don’t even care about. Walls bring infrasrture. With that comes roads and vehicles. Now you’ve just created easier access to drug dealers. The steel fence is deterred by a local hardware store.

 

Illegals get food stamps if the have a child in Ametica, frree education, free healthcare, and tax refunds

I too prefer legal residents, but they may not be available or incompetent. The wage is the wage in business, no matter who is hired unless they work in the fields.

 

Wages are always affected by supply and demand

Too many shoeless illegals chasing the available jobs drives down wages

Liberals want government to manage everything as in setting min wages that are ignored by the shadow labor market, to subsidizing the income of Americans who do bother to take jobs

Better to expell the illegal aliens and end welfare for able bodied Americans and we will see wages rise naturally

 

Wages are controlled by the union if there is one. If not you are correct and you pay qualified people or someone else will, no matter where they came from.

Do you know that it's against the law for government workers to ask welfare applicants if they are illegals? Of course you don't.

Do you honesty think that people who broke the law to get into the country, then broke the law using stealing other's identities to work, will hesitate to fill out a welfare application? Hell no, they do it all the time.

Day before yesterday I was behind a lard ass illegal at the grocery store. $85 worth of food, then pulled out her food stamp debit card. SNAP is intended as 'supplemental nutrition'. When you're 260 damn pounds, I think you've been supplemented enough.

One time a few years ago, I watched some fat illegals buy over a $150 worth of food, then proceeded to walk out to their Hummer. I took down the plate, ran it, found the owner of record and called to report the fraud. The, uh, minority answering the call said "how do you know they owned the car?", I said, okay, just send me a list of people using food stamps in my county. Of course they won't do that, because illegals are protected by privacy laws. So once they apply, you really have no way of preventing nor reporting the fraud.

They vote. They get food stamps. They get large subsidies with fraudulent long form 1040s. They get section 8 housing. They get free phones and electricity. They get other people's refunds using other people's SS numbers. They abuse the emergency room like no other...for free.

They need a free trip out of the country. Good riddance.
