All I did was pick strongly agree or disagree and made it lefty responses. Could just as easily made it authoritarian right.
I began, but was totally pissed off with the first question words, "If economic globulism is inevitable" and quit. It's a sham. Never make yourself subservient to the biased writers of polls and questionaires.
a 5 point likert scale would have been better... something like this: likert scales have been made up to 11 points for a more in depth psyche eval, but for this political 'game' scale, 5 points would reflect better than the 'targeted' 4 pointer type... as for the makers of this test, well just look at their ideas on the placements and their agenda becomes apparent:
https://www.politicalcompass.org/yourpoliticalcompass?ec=3.63&soc=-3.13 3.63 -3.13 I have taken similar tests before and this one wasn't as good. Some of the questions are very poorly worded such as the one about abstract art. I find abstract art silly and stupid but have no problems with someone else liking it. Was I supposed to answer the question with my opinion or how it should be treated in general? If its just my opinion then it is a meaningless question such as asking someone whether or not they like ketchup or not.
This is probably a more accurate version of this 'political compass'; posted in Political Opinions & Beliefs, just fyi.
try this, take the poll by answering how you think someone else here would answer based upon the posts they've made...
I don't really know anyone's positions here well enough, so I took this spectrum quiz on Kamala Harris's behalf. (prob. close to the CarlosCA guy too though)
interesting, isnt it... taken it as someone else gives you more insight into their beliefs, as well as them gaining insight into how they are percieved by others...
Depends on how introspective and honest one is with themselves (we do / can have insights into the thoughts, motivations & intentions of our hearts) unlike with others. True dat', w/ your later point on insight into others. For instance, This epic cat fight that surfaced in doing my due diligence "vetting" on Kamala. (thoughts & intentions of her heart?) if one can sit through it, lol.
the 'extremes' become useful, compare them to their everyday comments, that'll expose them for what they are... i'll view the 'tube' next time i'm at my terminal... i've blocked all media on 'the smart aleck' , aka phone...
You seem to be getting an awful lot wrong. It's not me struggling with the test, scores and the reasons behind the results. You should concentrate on your own score and try to determine what went wrong.
Apparently the first test was pretty accurate, anyway, because this one came out almost the same: Does this mean I have to stop calling myself a far right-winger?
Here is the results for me, after taking the test: Your Political Compass Economic Left/Right: 0.0 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -1.33
