As far as immigration the entire system is flawed..... the language on the criteria to become a asylum seeker is overly vague ,the process from filling to a court date is way to long therefore these people are allowed to roam in America until their court dates. The SCOTUS has already ruled that the 2A applies to commonly used weapons, there are several million semi-automatic ARs out there. It isn't about hunting, the Founders made it clear the 2A was to protect us from tyrannical government. How would I fix illegal immigration, 1. Rewrite asylum laws so they aren’t so vague and open ended 2. Increase funding for Asylum courts upwards of 1000 days to court tells me that the court is under funded. 3. With those things addressed it will lower the amount of time refugees wait for their cases to be heard therefore doing away with the need of catch and release.

To make this tactic work, Trump needed to SEAL THE BORDER SHUT in addition to 'declaring a national emergency'. I've already written nearly a dozen posts about this. If we SEAL THE BORDER SHUT, the Mexican businesspeople themselves will demand that the Mexican paramilitary police forces put an end to all this 'migrant' and 'caravan' bullshit on THEIR side of the border, where all the problems originate in the first place. And best of all, Mexicans fixing these problems in MEXICO wouldn't cost the United States a penny....

But, without closing the border and thus forcing the Mexicans to 'fix' the problems themselves, Trump has done nothing but guarantee that this 'national emergency' will be hamstrung in federal courts infested with hyperliberal judges for a very, very long time....
