Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders has thrown his hat in the ring, joining a crowded field of Democrats vying to take on President Trump in 2020. "We're gonna win," Sanders told "CBS This Morning," vowing to "lay the groundwork for transforming the economic and political life of this country." The RNC responded to the senator's announcement Tuesday, reminding people just how radically out-of-touch the policies he pushes are with mainstream voters......snip~ https://townhall.com/tipsheet/leahb...e-sanders-announces-presidential-run-n2541677 The Sandman also put up a site on the internet for donations. In less than 24 hrs he is already up to 4 million dollars. Bernies only chance is to take AOC for his VP and even then his chance are slim to none. What say ye.
I was somewhat surprised when I heard Bernie Sanders was running for President in 2020. What's next??? Hillary reappears as a Presidential candidate???
Even more surprising is how the Lefts pollsters have Biden and Bernie as the favored to win their Primary.
Well, liberals are know to do things over and over and over again until they get it so wrong others have to step in to clean it up....
Trump will have an easy time painting out Sanders and his Socialism agenda. What will be interesting.....is if other Democrats will stand up and do the same in their primary.
The difference between Sanders and McCain is... I wanted John McCain to be president in 2000, I didn't want Bernie Sanders to be president in 2016. Like McCain was too old in 2008, Sanders is too old for 2020 imo.
Very good news. Hopefully many of the Sanders supporters don't vote for whoever the democratic nominee will eventually be. I'm hoping many just stay home and give Trump an easy victory.
AOC isn't nearly old enough to be president so she cannot be vice-president either. Bernie is second-place in this crowded field and a lot can happen in an election. I don't see his chances as slim especially when he became a strong challenge to Hillary and is extremely popular even among independents.
While he was a strong challenger to Ma Barker.....with all the Demo Potentials running. I think this time will be a bit tougher for the Sandman. He will still have to deal with those on the left that want to push a woman for President. Regardless if she is qualified or not. Then if he should get the nominee. He will get crushed by Trump. As Trump will rally the country against Socialism.
LMAO.....that's delusional to think the Clown Car causes fear. None fear leftists. Except other leftists. That's why they are out talking **** about Howard Schultz.
President Bernie Sanders.....maybe in Venezuela. First he has to get on their ballot. Kamala Harris will tear him up in a debate.
I don't deny that Bernie has some major challenges in 2018 and most likely someone else will win, but I see his chances are better than most candidates due to his high polling and overall popularity. As for whether Trump could beat him, I am not sure what will happen. Trump only has a 44% approval rating and has never been able to rise above that. Bernie has a 53% favorability. In hypothetical matchup polls, Bernie wins. So its definitely unproven that Trump will crush Bernie.
He is considered the leader of the far left lurch of the democratic party. Obama only had a 40% approval rating before his second election.
Do you think the lurch to the far left, which apparently every democratic candidate will have to compete with, is the right thing for the democratic party?
Bernie wasn't polled preaching a complete Socialistic Agenda either. Now he wont be able to hide it. It will be interesting to see Amy the Impaler take Bernie on about that Free Education.
I'm not voting for a Socialist, get a pro-business and pro-USA anti-globalist into office strong on National Security I would consider them though if they were a man, I will never vote for a Foid into any political office.
