I was being precise. I did not agree with everything in the last sentence.
Anyway, you did not say McCain was a traitor so don't pretend that I agreed with that.

If any republican politician came upon a report that suggested the democrat presidential nominee was compromised by Russia, wouldn't they feel obligated to submit that report to the FBI? He didn't leak it to the media or the public.

I hate this line of logic, "If it's true, then it is not a smear/racist/sexist/attack."

It is absolutely bullshit. First off, these statements are not some objective truth. Consider the latest smear by Trump against John McCain. He retweeted a post about how more people love Trump, but not McCain. That is not some objective statement, it is a belief.

And then, you have the problem that even if it were a Truth (with a capital "T"), then it is STILL AN ATTACK.

Well, OF COURSE, the deceitful, radical Democrats want everybody to totally forget all about the Steele Dossier! It was a pack of LIES thrown together by a British scam-artist, and it was bought and PAID FOR by DEMOCRATS! It was the prime ingredient in the case put before the FISA court to launch the "Mueller Investigation" to find all the ways that DEMOCRATS were yelling that "the Russians hacked the election for Trump"!

And to this day, 18 March 2019, Donald John Trump has not (NOT) been implicated in any 'conspiracy' with "Russians" to "hack the election" for himself. No... so far, every single bit of this whole 'snipe-hunt safari' for a connection between Donald John Trump and the "Russians" has produced nothing but fraudulent speculation -- hawked 24/7 by the rabidly-hyperliberal "news" media....

If not for these warrants all of the crimes committed by Trump associates would have stayed hidden as well.

Honestly can't feel sorry for the King of the Birthers having to deal with "fraudulent speculation". Instant Karma.

That's all he did. McCain gave it to the FBI. He didn't give it to the media.

If you say otherwise, prove it.

Agreed. And as McCain did not submit it to the media, we should be in full agreement.

Wait, so the Progressive party made up this Steele thing, and it got passed around by McCain, yet you think Republicans are the bad guys?

Ha! This is like how Progressives try to rewrite history all the time.

Next thing you are going to do is tell me Hannibal and the Carthaginians were black.

Not one word was written in this thread about "birthers", "Obama", or anything having to do with him. Honestly, Daniel... can't you people even make a straight-faced pretence of trying to stay on subject, even though you're all squirming at every mention now of the "Steele Dossier"...? :roflol:

Oh, for what it's worth, it's been years since I've even given a thought to what rock Barack Obama crawled out from under, and whether that rock was in Kenya, Hawaii, or any other place on Earth. He did his lamentable damage to this country, and now is gone... and good riddance, whereever he came from....

i voted for Mccain in 2008 and I would of voted Kasich over Clinton had that been the option in this past election and I would consider myself to be more to the left but I dont identify as a republican or democrat. Up until Trump actually won I always thought it was a total joke, still is a joke, I cant believe how he conned enough Republicans into electing him to be the main candidate. I guess the only redeeming quality is we didnt have to hear about Religion all the time although Trump tried his best to fake that part of himself for the base

Yeah... money-laundering with a bunch of criminals in UKRAINE years before Trump ever even thought about running for the presidency. That definitely helped in understanding how "the RUSSIANS hacked the election for Trump".

Don't you see it yet, brutha? This is the kind of 'investigation' that was commonly used in the early days of Nazi Germany when the Gestapo was going after somebody they hated, but needed a reason... even if they had to make one up out of nothing but lies and bullshit!

And? It's like hiring a new CEO of Ford who hates cars, doesn't know anything about building cars and hates the people who build cars.

A guy who knew McCain. Prove that McCain directed him to pass it around, or even knew that he was doing so?

Trump voters hate the entrenched corrupt swamp rats in washington

But you are still suggesting that congress has to be charmed or bribed or flattered to do their job

His sworn testimony is that he got it from Steele. Not McCain.

And yeah, if you make an assertion, the onus is on you to prove it.

    Ok

Then he gave it too mccain and passed to to the news media

Do you really believe it was not at the urging of Mccain?
