Following the same example above, Obama still easily wins the 2008 election, but loses the 2012 election to Romney (Romney gets approx. 272 votes).

Democrats cannot appeal to the majority of the country so they want to change how elections work so they win.

 

It was absolutely else the smaller states would never have joined in the union. Thus the Great Compromise. There was an Electoral College expert on FOX this morning explaining the history of the constitutional convention debates where representitives from the smaller states were literally pounding the floor telling the larger states no way they would join a union where those few states would have that much power.

 

Aww no it won't be. A state could vote 90% for a candidate but see its EC votes all go to another candidate the state totally rejected.

 

Sure it is. First they have to get around the state compact clause. Second the state can have it's selected electors forced to vote for a candidate which it's citizens voted against even if the vote was 99% against that candidate. You could even have a scenario where their EC votes would have to go for a candidate who did not even appear in their ballot.
And say California votes for Sanders but Trump wins the so called popular vote and California says no way and changes its law between the state votes and the EC vote that would give Sanders the EC win what would stop them? What would be the sanction by the other states?

 

Everything I wrote in this post is not only spot on and happening as it was written, according to the most recent reports, the democrats plan on ripping up the constitution even more by advocating for lowering the voting age to 16, changing the supreme court laws so they can pack the court with more of their corrupt judges like Obama installed in the 9th circuit and in sanctuary strongholds around the country, they're also trying to lure more illegals saying they will give them free college and social security.


This while they're BRAINWASHING our kids in schools and universities to embrace socialism.

Given that the NRA and the GOP consider that 16 is a legitimate age to shoot at students in high schools why should they not be allowed to vote on issues that quite literally impact their lives?
