2020 Democrats eye dramatic increase in Supreme Court justices

Democrats never mentioned their "need" for more Supreme Court Justices so long as it was Democrat presidents like Obama putting hyperliberal judges like Sotomayor and Kagan up there.

But, since President Trump was successful in rebalancing the court with two Constitutional-literalist Justices, Gorsuch and Kavanaugh, NOW all of a sudden, Democrats have decided that we just MUST increase the number of Justices on the Supreme Court -- so that Democrats will have an easier time ramming through their agenda in the future. That's part of why Democrats were in such a frenzy after they took over the House in January to find some excuse to try to impeach and get rid of President Trump ASAP! Why? Because the longer he remains in office with a majority of Republicans in the Senate, the greater the likelihood that Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg will die before some Democrat gets elected as president! Obviously, that would mean that Trump could get a third Justice on the Supreme Court, and that would mean disaster for Democrats who have big plans to change the Constitution as much as they can, as soon as they can. Ginsburg is 86 years old, and has been in bad health -- especially lately.

Yep! Democrats are poor losers. Very childish. I just wish Republicans would get a backbone and make the country greater. Fix the immigration issue by supporting Trump in all that he is trying to do with the boarder and the national security crisis. But, those Republican senators that have crossed the line on this issue all need to have their constituents call them and complain. They need to understand we won't stand for this mutiny by the elite Republicans either.

The New Democratic Party, the party of equality and justice, wants to erase the citizens living in the middle of the United States via a popular vote approach to electing the President, and they want to stack the SCOTUS, so they can insure their plans don't get derailed by Constitutional rejections.

 

Nothing new here. Democrats thought we needed border security until Trump was elected. Now dems are advocating for voting rights for illegal aliens. These folks will stop at nothing to gain power.

Gerrymandering is blamed on Republicans by the left even though democrats do it to.

Kamala Harris, Elizabeth Warren and Kirsten Gillibrand.

Yah that’s a stupid idea. We expand it, then you expand it, then we do again...next thing you know we’ve got more supremes than members of Congress.

 

... and they'll do everything they can to undermine and sabotage the bedrock foundation of how we elect a President. They want to get rid of the Electoral College (which is a vital part of the Constitution) so that they can control the entire country with votes in about seven or eight large metro areas -- which are infested heavily with DEMOCRATS, of course....

Packing the Supreme Court? We have had nine Justices on the Supreme Court since 1837 (except for a brief time around the Civil War). In 1937, a hundred years afterward, the great Democrat demi-god, Frankie Roosevelt, tried to pack the Court with SIX additional judges, but his "court-packing" scheme was shot down by Congress. Now an even more-liberal Democrat Party than even Frankie would have imagined is back at it again!

. So, who would the 2021 version of "Frankie" be...?!

 

Yup! But, remember that FDR was shot down by Congress, even his own VP was quietly working against his proposal, though the "switch in time to save the nine" gave him what he wanted anyway.

The main point is that these 2020 Democrats are way far outside the Constitutional mainstream and so insecure that they are not radical enough to please their crazed base that the primaries will be a contest to see who can go further left.

Dems want to get rid of the electoral college, pack the Supreme Court, etc. It almost appears that they don’t like America very much right now.

Ok ... let’s add two more (or six more) justices right now and let Trump pick.

 

Its an easy fix actually. If a candidate campaigns on it, Trump need only say he'll do it. Liberal heads would explode and America could march on as the Founders' intended...

 

Right now these underhanded, slimebag Democrats are toiling like ants in a frenzy, hoping against hope that they can keep Ruthie Ginsburg ALIVE until they can find some way to get rid of Trump and keep him from nominating another Supreme Court Justice!

Democrats would probably be less extreme if republicans hadn’t refused to even hear a nominee from Obama. There are consequences for playing such partisan games. Ones that will reverberate through our country. We can expect much more of the same.

 

I could see this becoming a right to life case.

 

At some point we're going to have to take this country back one street at a time.

The most horrifying thing in all of this is that so many are so unwilling to accept the valid outcome of the people's vote and will go to such extreme measures to destroy or at least control and silence anybody who is not like THEM. And they support leaders who would tear everything apart to increase their ability to increase their own power, prestige, influence, and personal wealth. It is no accident that so many enter high office from the middle class and depart as 1 percenters.

I only hope those who are still able to think rationally and critically are still in sufficient numbers and have sufficient backbone to stand up against this truly evil trend. We must do what we can to push back against it.

 

I have read several articles about this.

As of now, it is just more Alarmist RW Tinfoil Hat Chicken Little Stuff (that probably has ZERO Chance of actually happening, just another nothingburger that the RW is freaking out over).

That said, I would love to see The Court packed with more Liberal Justices.
