Are you going to stop saying 'committed suicide'? Is this a good way to deal with mental illness/ Or is this millennial snowflakery?

Sorry but I refuse to alter my language in order to not hurt someone's feelings. If I say "committed suicide" to describe a person killing their self then this is all it means.

Any "implied" intent on word usage is dishonest and silly. The word police can kiss my ass.

Lessen the words to lessen the impact thereby creating an environment where more people find it acceptable.

    Wonderful plan liberals!

Committed suicide is a descriptive term.

    That's all it is.

If the liberals want to blow this out of proportion they can expect the same from me.

To be fair though, I could spice up the phrase to something like "swinging from the gallows", I've always been fond of that one.

    Two words for you:

Washington Redskins....now go shriek in horror that I said that horrible thing.

What do you have against country folk?

Is that your liberal, city dwelling elitist attitude seeping through?

If you had the power I wonder what you would do to all those country bumpkins.

    Probably nothing very good.

"The strike comes as diagnoses of major depression are rising dramatically across the country —

33 percent since 2013, according to a report this year from Blue Cross Blue Shield. The suicide rate also has increased 33 percent since 1999, according to a CDC report last week. The National Alliance on Mental Illness says 43.8 million people experience mental illness in a given year. But there is a shortage of mental health professionals to treat people who are suffering."

How many health professionals are there to treat them, and how many were there back then?

Your liberal article fails to mention little facts like that so perhaps you can finish their story since for some reason they don't want to tell us that.

I load my revolver with one round and then spin the rotating chamber and load a second round. I then spin the rotating chamber again. I then pull the hammer back and pull the trigger. I keep on cocking it and pulling the trigger until I have fired both rounds.

When I pull the trigger and it does not fire I can see whether I am yanking on the trigger rather than squeezing. Great way to improve trigger squeeze..

I have been told that it is not a good idea to call it Russian Roulette target practice.

Not that I disagree with your "Lessen the words to lessen the impact" is of course typical and like "collateral damage"
lessens the effect of civillians killed or news always using "IEDs" rather than terrorist bombing in war.

But your valid observation was nullified by a thread killer remark - about Robin Williams suicide.

    Very callous remark, Spooky.

You always regress like this, rather than broaden the topic - in effect, it turns people away.

What could've been a fruitful discussion on fake news or insensitivity by big business ...ok?
