Source: https://www.rt.com/uk/454886-farage-compares-brexit-hitler/ Ehm ... who left the cell door open of this idiot and took the gag out of his mouth? Nigel Farrage ... the Lord of Lies in the Brexit Camp, who, like other Brexit clowns, makes himself boldly paid as an EU parliamentarian ... does his mouth open to more than breathing? OH MY GOD ... and I say that as an atheist! But OK ... British humor is delicious, but not everyone understands!
Lol ... just what Thatcher had achieved in the EU in the 1980's and what is unique, was by Farrage concealed at Brexit Referendum with fuill intention and instead spread lies ... and he confirmed later to ha lied with intention! We pay every week 350 milllion GBP to Brussels, better to spend this in our NHS! Lol ... Of these 370 million GBP come next day 231 million GBP back to London ... because Thatcher made thsi so called Brit Discount where 66% pf paid money wents directly back to London. And how much of these 231 mullion returmned GBP went into NHS, eh? We better keep silence about the rediculous amount which went of it into NHS!
I certainly don't want to put a halo on the thead of ther EU to be the innocent .... BUT If you look at all those lies told by Brexit advocates about the EU, that's breathtaking. Worse, the EU is automatically evil because of these lies, but these people claim things that are amazing. They show that they have not the slightest idea about the EU, its bodies, organs etc., their tasks and rights ... in short, who in the EU has and can what deciide and what not! But the EU is evil ... of course!
https://news.liverpool.ac.uk/2016/06/22/transcript-professor-michael-dougan-eu-referendum/ This is a transcript of Professor Michael Dougan's speech he gave a few days before the referendum. Afterwards, the worst Brexiters could think of to say was he was in the pay of the EU ( he isn't and never was)
Thank you for re-finding this ... I searched in the past in www but didn't found! And yes ... the **** storm what he earned by these Bexit liars and fake news spreading idiots was breathtaking! This quote from it here says it all in well words told by a Professor who has the knowledge ... .... The more negative reason, I have to say, is one which is directly linked also to my work, which I have just watched with increasing dismay as this referendum debate has unfolded. I have to say although the remain campaign have not exactly covered themselves in glory at points with their use of dodgy statistics, I think the leave campaign has degenerated in to dishonesty really on an industrial scale. There is no other way to put it, on an industrial scale. What I have found particularly difficult, a bit like Janet, I have dared to say some of these things are not true, some of these things are not actually accurate and I found myself being sorted being treated with personal insults about my credibility and my competence and so on.
Amen. I mean, I like Theresa May, just none of her policies that wasn't her promise of Global Britain at Somerset House (I think her policies and deals suck), but honestly, I like that she's not Jeremy Corbyn or Momentum as well as what she promised at Somerset House in 2017. https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...balbritaineueuropeanunionlatest-a7531361.html
What the Remain MPs are keeping to themselves (and we all know why, don't we? Their lucrative post-Westminster 'retirement home' in the Brussels parliament?), is that one of the amendments could have been opting to remain if the EU will agree to reverting to what it was all supposed to be about in the first place - a common trading bloc but without the encumbrances of political union. A talking head mentioned on the radio a couple of days ago that 'leaving was always going to be complicated.' Well it need not have been - May has made it complicated by trying to get an acceptable deal, the intention being to leave opportunities in the Brussels parliament for the above reason. There's only one way the Tory party can salvage what little is left of it's credibility, and that's to pass an amendment motion for a no deal exit. This will not only earn the everlasting gratitude of all those who are sick of hearing the words Brexit, deal, and backstop, but put Labour totally on the back foot. If they don't do that, but argue for a GE instead, Labour will win it in a landslide, and the Tories will be finished for at least 3 terms, and it will serve them right.
The results of these indicative votes are proving just how much palpable contempt they have for us. Any further amendments which might be on the cards should carry a qualifying clause of how an MP (of either party) wants to vote, viz. that he/she should only be allowed into the lobbies if the vote corresponds to his/her constituency result in the referendum. For example, an MP who represents a Leave constituency should not be allowed to vote to Remain, whatever the terms of it might be. This should have been a prerequisite right from the first of the amendments procedures.
Now all Brexit issues aside ... what you write there is eternal ... yes even since the ancient Greeks an insoluble problem in democracy with incompatible arguments on both sides. Is a Member in a Parliament solely a mouthpiece for voters in his constituency who voted for him ... or is he allowed to represent his own conscience and opinion in Parliament, which is maybe different? This is also the question of the party discipline in the parliaments, because if the party leadership decides something, then a member of the party should submit to this decision in his votes, no matter how his opinion or that of the voters in the constituency of the deputy. Is this generally correct? You see ... a very complicated question with hard and often irreconcilable positions on both sides!
There is no such thing as a leave constituency. How many people who voted for the person who represents them actually voted to remain? Nobody knows. It's a stupid argument,
If that was all you were wanting there was no need for Brexit, Cameron had already got that. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-eu-referendum-35622105
I am not aware of anyone except perhaps the Scottish Nationalists following their voters who are wanting remain. The problem always has been the Brexiters changing their mind after the vote - what they claimed would be an easy deal and result in us being like Norway or Switzerland changed into a desire for No Deal and their unfortunately ability to hypnotise their voters to believe that was the idea all along.
Absolutely right! Already during the referendum, the Brexit supporters had fired a firework of lies that was breathtaking as to the arguments for a Brexit = against the EU! What is really evil, however, is that most Brexit supporters have no idea at all about the EU itself, the institutions, the organs, the sectors and, in general, who decides what in the EU and how it is decided. What is made here alone in this forum to claims, is really the ultimate madness! Unfortunately, the truth is a completely different one and meanwhile more and more Britons have noticed this who once voted for Brexit.
You're all spectacularly missing the point, but I've changed my posting habits so you'll just have to chew on it.
