Also filled with guidance to kill. There is also no way to determine which is better without using science.
I'm suggesting the god of the Abrahamic religions is a genocidal psychopath, and ALL of his followers should be viewed with suspicion, because ALL branches have used their god's name to justify horrible atrocities committed upon their neighbors. What they've done before, they are perfectly capable of doing again...
That's your opinion and you are entitled to it. whenever I post a quote I include book and verse number.
Why try to apologize for ms Omar? Can't she just tell us what she thinks? She doesn't seem shy when it's bashing this country. And yet, she can't find it in her heart to decry the use of stoning in Brunei or sneak rocket attacks from Hammas? She certainly seems in lock step with her authoritarian barbarism....
I'm all for being logical, so lets: Ilhan Omar is from Somalia, which is 99% Muslim and is governed by Sharia law. In Somalia, 98% of women have had female genital mutilation, women are not allowed to leave their homes without permission from a man. And 80% of the population are polling that you should be put to death for not believing in Islam. And of course, being gay in Somalia is punishable by law. But Ilham is not fazed by any of this and believes we need to focus on Israel instead. So... my logic tells me Omar believes gays should be punished, as in being stoned. But of course, she cannot say it publically, so she never will, for or against.
No. NIV: "Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally all that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’ Not sure what the argument here is, but God did command Israelites to kill their enemies on many occasions (Joshua's life was dedicated to it), and Jewish law mandated gays be put to death. Where do you think the Muslims got the idea? Israel does not enforce that law anymore, but apparently Brunei does. Obviously Jesus never suggested anyone should be put to death. He replaced the old covenant with the new one.
Why do all the muslims here want sharia law? I think that they are happy to get away from that **** and only a tiny minority want a seprate law code
An interesting question. What people want for themselves is not necessarily what they want for others. Which means, if American Muslims may not want to be governed by Sharia law, deep inside they approve it for others.
Why do you smear Republicans with the sins of Democrats? Sure, you said "KKK conservatives". Lynching blacks and white Republicans is not a "conservative" value. It's insulting to conservatives of today and of the time of Lincoln who called himself a conservative, not a liberal. Don't throw your party's dirty laundry in our basket.
You need to go back 40 years to find a conservative equivalent to the current state of most Muslim countries, huh? Interesting.
Simple question: Were the people that burned that cross trying to preserve segregation or were they trying to change the laws against segregation? Given that conservation means to preserve the norm and change means to progress, the very definition of the words should be a clue to you.
Like your logic : A + B = yellow. If she believed in Sharia she would not have gone to college, she would not be allowed to vote, she would not have control of a staff that includes men. She simply could not be devout Sharia AND be a female member of Congress. What she does seem to believe is that commenting to right wing tabloid news is not an intelligent thing to do. Which is pretty universal for Democrats. Your posted "logic" is an exercise in stupidity - nothing more.
Her agenda is clear She does not mind bashing America for not letting men pee in the womens bath room or boink little boys Anything she can find to attack this country is fine for her But she wont condem the killing of homosexuals in muslim countries
We have a First Amendment and subscribe to the concept of the equality and equal protection of our social laws, to secure natural rights.
How you associated anything I said with LGBTQ - is beyond my comprehension. I have been to Omar's website - it was there on her twitter remarks where someone asks about Sharia - and she avoids the question. Your claim "The only reason to ask AOC about Sharia is because of her religion" is 1) not a trolling and 2) is not the reason to ask the question. 1) if one's religions beliefs are in violation of the founding principles (and the majority of that religion hold such beliefs)- and you happen to be running for political office - such questions should be mandatory - never mind "fair game". For example: If one is Catholic - and running for political office - questions in relation to abortion are "fair game". The Catholic position on conception is that the soul exists at that point - therefor abortion is "evil" after that point. In a debate between Biden and Ryan during the election in relation to a question on abortion - Biden said "I am a Catholic an in accordance with my religious belief I am personally against abortion however, as a politician I do not believe in forcing my personal religious beliefs on others" Correct Answer ! Asking Biden a question in relation to abortion and in relation to Biden's Catholicism - is not trolling. If Omar does not have the same answer - like Ryan - she is a piece of human garbage .. FULL STOP. The point of asking the question is to get rid of any "ASSUMPTIONS" to remove all doubt. You are Pro-Choice - if you would just Assume that a political candidate is pro choice - regardless of their religious or personal belief - you are not doing your job as a citizen. 2) No one is making an assumption with respect to Omar's religious belief - She has made no secret of her devotion to Islam. The point of asking the sharia question is to avoid making the assumption that she is and Islamist - as the majority of Muslims are Islamist or support/agree with Sharia Law. If she can say what Biden said - I have no problem with her. I would be an idiot however to just assume that she does not agree with Sharia. The reason I ask this question however is not simply because of her specific religion. I ask the same question to people of any religion. In fact - I want to know the answer to this question with respect to non religious people as well. It matters not to me whether it is a religious or personal belief - If someone wants to force personal beliefs on others through physical violence - beliefs which call for violation or infringement of essential liberty (sans valid justification)- I have a serious problem with that person. Don't you ?
Wrong. Individual liberty is a conservative value. Using the power of the government to restrict freedom is a liberal thing. Lincoln called himself a conservative because he wanted to conserve the union, the Constitution and freedom the is endowed to us by our Creator. The people burning the cross were Democrats who not only instituted segregation, but murdered and terrorized blacks and white Republicans. You are just attempting to call the victims of Democrats racism the perpetrators of it. That don't fly with me.
Conservatives of yesterday were lynching and segregating minorities, and, yes, it was a conservative value. Insulting today to real Americans for conservatives to deny their past activities.
More, or close, to it,, Blacks are killed every year by other blacks, than all the time of the KKK lynchings.
