First, strawman. That has nothing to do with what I said about whether or not Hell is real. I did say outright, stoning can be proven and thus is real. Hell, at this time, can not be disproven, and thus we don't know whether it is real or not. It could be. At what point have I claimed that those stoning are the moderate ones? My claim is that there are Muslims who are turning away from such activities, just as Jews and Christians already have for the most part.
They were fighting because of their religious differences. Otherwise, it wouldn't have been an issue of Protestant vs Catholic.
I hate to use th “isolated incident” excuse but in this case it fits In a nation as big as ours exceptions to the rule exist Bowers clearly hated Jews But Christians overwhelmingly condemn his actions That is not the case in islam where so many muslims support sharia law and the killing of non muslims
You know that muslims stoning gays is real Christians abhor the homosexual lifestyle but do not murder homosexuals for their sin
The hereafter is like the preacher who asked the congregation to raise their hands if they wanted to go to heaven. One man didn't raise his hand. The preacher asked him if he wanted to go to hell. He said no, but I'm scared you're going to load up the buses and try to go to heaven right now. As a practical matter almost everybody wants to see another sunrise.
My guess is that many Christians in america are getting all warm and fuzzy inside, and wishing they could enforce the same policy in America.
But as long as they're not actually doing it right? Like here or anywhere, Christians aren't doing this. I've realized in making this thread that speaking out against Islam is interpreted as an invitation to do some Christian bashing by progressives.
Actually the Christian bashing comes from a few directions. 1. Muslims, who cannot argue about the content of the thread and want to change the subject. 2. People who have no idea what Islam is about, and want to respond. 3 People who hate Christianity and are too lazy to make their own thread about it.
A claim that cannot actually be demonstrated on the part of yourself as being factual. The Christian religion does not regularly advocate and call for the murdering of homosexuals simply because they are homosexuals.
Here you go, from the smart people at the FBI: "Domestic terrorism: Perpetrated by individuals and/or groups inspired by or associated with primarily U.S.-based movements that espouse extremist ideologies of a political, religious, social, racial, or environmental nature." That's what a terrorist attack is. If a Muslim carries it out it's a How many Muslims support terrorism - what percent? Provide some credible source also please.
I believe the question was Muslim terrorism, not a definition of all terrorism. All a person can do is get estimates on how many support it, guesses. That one is impossible to put an exact number on. I can say that just because it is preached in the Islamic text, to brainwashed sheep. The number will be a lot higher than a religion that does not preach it.
I think all religions are equally garbage. And the refusal to hold Christianity to account for its attoricities is just hypocritical. Christians have helped other governments who punish homosexuality write the policy because they know they cant get it done here. But hey. Lets just ignore that.
so, there are thousands of religions out there and you have inside knowledge on all of them to make a statement like that. wow.
and the extreme vast majority of them are variations on the same theme. there are a thousand different versions of Islam. Of Christianity. Just as an example. And they all suck arse.
No they aren't. Where did you get that information. Christianity has 5 major sects with about 2000 smaller ones Islam has one written version, but 2 main versions, with over 60 sects. Buddhism has about 2000 sects. 4 major sects of Judism Hindu has 4 main sects. And you know about all of these... wow... You must be a religious scholar.
Ellen DeGeneres Backs Beverly Hills Hotel Boycott as Brunei Anti-Gay Law Goes Into Effect Ellen DeGeneres shared her renewed support for the boycott of the Beverly Hills Hotel, as well as all Dorchester Collection properties, just ahead of Brunei's anti-gay law going into effect Wednesday. The boycott stemmed from outrage against hotel owner Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah, who is the leader of the Southeast Asian country. In 2014, Brunei called for the implementation of Sharia law, which calls for stoning, amputation and other penalties for such crimes as theft, adultery and homosexuality. It was announced in March that he planned to put the law into effect April 3. She has a lot of influence, And crap, I didn't know those fancy LA hotels were his. They might go under anyways now.
You made the claim, it's up to you to back it up. You said - "That is not the case in islam where so many muslims support sharia law and the killing of non muslims" What the hell is 'so many'? You even know?
