President Trump and his tax returns.

Discussion in 'Opinion POLLS' started by Moriah, Apr 7, 2019.

?

Show the returns?

  1. It should be mandatory for Trump to show his tax returns.

  2. It should be voluntary for Trump to show his tax returns.

  3. I don't care one way or the other.

Yes, because Mnuchin's own words aren't real.

    You need some new material.

    Er...

Didn't we already agree that those weren't his words?

    Compare and contrast:

    Headline:

    "...will 'follow the law'"

vs. what he's quoted as having said:

    "...intent to follow the law"

Awwwww......really? The President was vindicated on a two year worthless probe and so now the weak kneed left is gunning for his tax returns again. The president does not have to show you his tax returns and he is not going to show you his tax returns. You got it? Will you just get over it? You lost.

Oh, so you see a distinction there. Hmmm.

You're suggesting that Mnuchin is claiming that he "intends" to follow the law, but won't?

He wasn't "vindicated", "exonerated" or even forgiven after going though confession.

Try to follow reality, my friend.

Why are repeating the silly lie that Trump was somehow vindicated? He is using an absence of publicly available information to establish his own narrative and try to make everyone's mind up in advance of the report's actual (though sadly redacted by his appointee) release.

Take ownership of your own suggestions. Don't attribute them to me.

I am clearly stating that it is a Fake News headline.

Yes, you're "clearly stating" that, but don't give any reason.

Are you claiming that Mnuchin is lying--that he doesn't really intend to comply with the law?

Are you claiming that there's a meaningful difference between stating "I intend to comply" and "I will comply"?

OK. Just for poops and chortles; what if there are two conflicting laws?

'Will' implies a greater degree of certainty than 'intend'.

The one which more specifically addresses the issue involved is applied.

If you're trying to suggest that the general privacy laws related to tax returns somehow governs over more specific "turn over" laws, you loser. Pretty badly.

You'll be pooping more than chortling, my friend.

The obsessed and treasonous New Democratic Party members in the House have no right to the President's tax returns.

There is no Constitutional requirement to provide tax returns. The obsessed can't invent stories to create a reason.

Become familiar with Bill of Attainder.

Take ownership of your own "what if" suggestions. I don't know what your thing is with pinning them on me.

I've already told you that I don't know what the laws are. How can I "suggest" what law might be superior to another, without knowing them?

I really wish that you would stick to your own arguments, and make them, rather than putting stuff on me.

If you insist on being both parties to the discussion, why quote me? Why drag me into it?

Not competent? You do realize that he's a successful businessman, worth billions in real estate, golf courses and TV. He is also a successful candidate and President of the USA. So to say he's not competent is absurd. As for having advisors, that's right. All Presidents do.

NO, he is NOT and was not. he is a mostlty FAILED businessman, had to be REPEATEDLY bailed out, NOT self made, and would have gone under if not for the Apprentice. It's you don't know who Trump is. Trump is and always has been a phony and a flim flam man. He's likely worth lesss than 3 bil by now. Considering his debt, maybe significantly less.

And you heard correct. Read Bob Wopodward's book, he;s as reputable as they get. He is a MORON. Any success the administration has had in it's aims is IN SPITE OF TRUMP, not because of him.

He wasn't always as incomptent as he is now, but he is definitely sufferening severe mental deterioration.

Stop embarrassing yourself with your lack of knowlege and read up on the fool for yourself.

His business career reads like you'd expect a trust fun baby who never got anything right to reaqd, pathetic.

Successful businesssman indeed, bankrupting Atlantic City Casinos?:roflol: Only a failure could accomplish that.

    I already am.

Please explain how you think that a statute which has universal application is a "bill of attainder".

Why don't you explain what statute you are referring to?

That only failed when he got caught. It was a fraud scheme, a sucessful one. Idiotically they had to lie in calling it a "university" cuz if they hadn't, they might have gotten away with the theft.

My question: If he is such a rich billionare, why was he cheating poor folks out of their money with a phony University?
I hope all those people got their money back.

The story I read claims others started the school. It was in my opinion a get rich quick scheme one sees a lot on TV. Haven't you seen those ads to come listen to some messiah tell you he knows how to make you rich quickly in real estate?

Apparently the starters had low morals. This however is normal. Do you see on Dr Phil those women who send hundreds of thousands of dollars to some daddy who tells them what they love to hear? Turns out those are Nigerians and very dishonest. But the women act like they want to protect their own scammer.

Tell a person you will cut out all the work and make them rich and they will buy the course.

Trump got involved. He got out at a hell of a high cost.

You know, what gets mind numbingly boring with his base, this constant talk of "trump hate" and "orange man bad" as if just arbitrary jealousy is the ONLY possible explanation for anyone not liking him. He is, start to finish, a con/flim-flam man, mostly failed businessman. A great self promoter, with no real chops. He also is NOT what he used to be. He has something rotting his brain, it's not even in question. People that knew him in the 90's and early 00s or even if you compare Howard Stern interviews to how he speaks now, he's in serious head trouble.

There are SO many valid reasons, BEFORE even the campaign to judge that indeed, this orange man IS bad and DESERVES to be disliked. HE EARNED IT. More than he earned ANY of his money.
