Yet the religious claim that this god is omnipotent and never wrong. Then turn around and claim that man is a creation of this god. Made in his image. And full of failure and false narratives. All of which points to this god, who does not exist, failing at every turn. Surely even you can see this.
And just how many do you know? As stated, Christians in general declare that the Jews killed this alleged Christ of yours and are hated accordingly. Widen the circle of people you claim to know. Your current one is definitely much to limited.
And American constitutional republicanism is two wolves passing an amendment allowing sheep eating over the dissent of the sheep minority. We have no less mob rule because of the Constitution.
We execute and put people in jail for life for not doing the right thing.....got a problem with that? Hell may be "paradise" to you. You get what you want.
Christians know and understand that "all have sinned and fallen short". Before regeneration of the spirit, we were all enemies of God. He died for all of our sins. It wasn't just Roman nails and a roman flog that caused Him to give up His Life, it was the sin we all commit. Israel has the support of Christians. You're living in a blinded fog.
Remember that this "god" of yours is supposed to be so perfect and just, yet he apparently has created inferior beings to be his playthings. In other words, a con job by generations of Christian apologists. You are wrong and biased as usual. BTW, have you noticed that you have zero agreement with your claims? You are the only one making them and supporting them. Perhaps you should glean some wisdom from this fact and stop embarrassing those you claim to represent. You represent no one but yourself and your imaginative ideas.
And we have another one who refuses to admit the truth or even admit the possibility of it being true. Very Christian of these people.
Um... yeah... You skipped over all that freewill and the original sin and the nachash in the Garden, God created a perfect being and we tossed it so we "could be like gods". Your analysis is oversimplified, go study the material and get back to us in ten years.. you might get the basics by then.
Take your own advice. The entire history of Christianity, all 2000 years of it, claims that this god of yours knows all and is re3sponsible for everything. This means good AND evil. If it really wanted mankind to act differently, man would have no option but to obey. As it stands now, this god of yours is either incompetent, psychotic or just plain evil. This god created nothing as he is a manmade construct.
What the American Atheists say: " Atheism is one thing: A lack of belief in gods. Atheism is not an affirmative belief that there is no god nor does it answer any other question about what a person believes. It is simply a rejection of the assertion that there are gods. Atheism is too often defined incorrectly as a belief system. To be clear: Atheism is not a disbelief in gods or a denial of gods; it is a lack of belief in gods." That pretty much undermines your entire strawman. I consider myself a non-theist, as I take it one more step and say that not only is the God you refer to not God, but is not worthy of worship even if he/she/it exists. A god that must be worshiped is not God.
He knew the future. The Noah story has god deciding to wipe out every human and start over. Then, he changed his mind!! How does someone with perfect knowledge of all time, who listens in on our thoughts and pays attention to each individual go about changing his mind on something like total genocide by drowning?
Of course! I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ because it is the power of God bringing us to Salvation. Someday even you might come to that realization.
We do not execute people or send them to jail for believing the wrong thing. We have freedom of speech and freedom of religion in this country. I would definitely have a problem with it if we didn't. But you keep moving the goal posts. The discussion was about individual liberty, which the Bible does not universally support. If you say you believe in individual liberty when it comes to things like speech and belief, but you support death or torture for the exercise of those liberties, then you don't actually believe in individual liberty any more than ISIS does. All I know is that if traditional Christianity is correct, there can be no such thing as "paradise" in the afterlife except for psychopaths without compassion or empathy for others. Heaven and Hell would be the same thing for anyone with compassion in such a world.
You wouldn't understand the fact that all sin leads to death.....and we all sin. Your analysis is a load of crap. You don't know what you are talking about. I would desire to help you, but you are probably too far gone.
The only one too far gone is you. You refuse any comment or evidence that disagrees with you, making you extremely narrow minded.
The belief that each and every slight, including thought crimes and differences of belief, is worthy of eternal torture is the spiritual psychopathy I'm talking about, and it is entirely antithetical to individual liberty.
God gives Grace to the humble. A contrite spirit is pleasing to God. If you have those qualities....you have nothing to worry about.
Not according to traditional Christianity. Even then, your support for the eternal torture of those who exercise their individual liberties demonstrates that you don't support them.
