It's probably both going over CCTV feeds after the fact and ongoing facial recognition programs coupled to a data base of known terrorists and suspected terrorists and their family members and friends. As to the title, I did not create it. I merely copied and pasted it; and most likely what concerned the author of the piece was that it INCLUDED Burqas and Niqabs.

 

And then what? How can you be sure that you would know what they are thinking just by looking at their eyes?

It strongly aids in identification which dramatically increases the chance of halting the bomber before he, she, or it can accomplish that goal. What is it with leftists and this issue since they would gleefully remove all firearms from the hands of honest citizens in the hope that disarming the honest would somehow MAGICALLY disarm the dishonest and predatory? The leftist 'solution' for Islamic terrorism? Do nothing, not even do any vetting of potential terrorists being INVITED into one's nation lest one injure the feelings of a suicide bomber.

The eyes are the windows of the soul, so it's said, and just by looking at their face I can recognize if someone is lying to me or deceiving me, even if you can't.

As it happens I watched a documentary last night about the London Tube bombings, and only someone without a soul could have even conceived such a heinous act, never mind actually perpetrate it. No European would have done such a thing, that's for sure.

 

LOL Anyone who is going to lie to you won't need a face covering to do so. There are tens of thousands of con men knocking on doors to extract your money. Who are these face covered people lying to you and for what reason?

The problem I have with this ban is that the gov can know and keep tabs on protesters and activists..

I actually joined hundreds of thousands ppl protests, masks are useful to 'get stuff done'....I don't support anti gov violence but sometimes the red line is crossed. The power of people at protests, combined with privacy and motive, is overwhelming

 

Not being forced to cover ones face is liberating.

In some places, even dogs are forces to cover their faces.

However covering your face has nothing to do with freedom of religion. They are still practising Muslims.

 

Wearing a burqa takes away personal liberty for those who have to wear them. Men forcing woman to wear certain clothes is not personal liberty.
