Amazing: I had never seen Republicans in such disarray

Disarray has traditionally been for Democrats. Even when they're right, Democrats always manage to muddle their own message. But Republicans have been so disciplined concerning messaging. No matter how bad things get, they always come up with some "spin", and regardless of how absurd and idiotic it might be, you can be sure everybody is on the same page and stick to the spin.

But now you see Republicans throwing crap at the wall... and nothing sticks. Yesterday they tried just ignoring Mueller, and repeating that Mueller had exonerated Trump. Then they made a lukewarm attempt at cherry-picking words from Mueller's public statement yesterday. But that didn't last. Now some are trying to attack Mueller, others are sticking to their original narrative that "Barr exonerated Trump".... And, at the same time, the traditional Republicans (those who say they are with Trump, but will stick a knife in his back first chance they get) are completely silent.

Inadvertently, Mueller has caused chaos in the GOP. They'll probably settle on a message eventually. But I don't see how it's going to be unanimous. Attacking Mueller is not going to go well among those who still want to project some sort of image of "common sense". But none of the alternatives seems to be working.... What will they do?

The party is relatively unified. I see no disputes.

It’s our socialist worker’s party that’s split on whether to impeach.

    I don't see much disarray.

I see rampant corruption in national office.

I see lockstep devotion to party over country.

I see Russian influence in the White House, and attempts to coopt congress by laundering Russian money through the NRA.

I see all manner of self dealing and graft.

And I see a GOP Senate leadership working very hard to keep a lid on it all, and keep it out of the public view, by whatever means possible.

No, the GOP is tied by the waist to Trumpism.

When Barack Obama made that comment about "guns, god and gays" a few years ago, he was on to something. Which is why conservatives were so offended. The professional fundraisers and scam artists that prey on evangelicals and the talk radio right, hated having their racket pointed out.

And the GOP hated having its dependence on the right wing lunatic fringe discussed openly.

So, Trump supercharged the most deplorable aspects of the GOP appeal, and roped the party to the crackpots, the bigots, the angry old white people, and losers everywhere.

Trump has always been a loser. He used to get 86'd as studio 54. No one will do business with him brecause he's a cheat and a liar. Everything he touches dies.

But he will be a folk hero to the little people who paste "Ain't Skeert" stickers on their trucks.

Right ... it's not like the Senate is steam-rolling (D)'s of federal judge appointments. The Senate hasn't said they'll quash impeachment either. Republicans in the House banded together and pushed through 2 MTR's as well. That made possible by 29 (D) congressmen the GOP lured across the aisle. You do Alinsky's rules a disservice with projection this weak and obvious.

With some 25 wackos in the democrat party clown car all running for president, you have nothing to brag about. My God, it was your party that nominated Hillary Clinton.

The Dem clown car is up to a convoy of buses, and the clowns are winding up to go full juggalo and tear each other's throats out, Nancy hasn't managed to housebreak her new litter of radical puppies, the DNC can't decide whether to jump on the rapidly-browning New Green Deal bandwagon, or stamp it out like an invasive weed, and the IMPEACHers are dragging the resisters kicking and screaming into the wood chipper of political suicide.

On the other side of the aisle...

    Trump, all day e'er day.

    Who's in disarray again?

On every thread, the most foolish responses invariably go to the poster who only reads the title, but not the OP. Here, you have this dis-honor. Not the first time, though.

Speaking of the OP, who's attacking Mueller?

I see plenty of Dems screeching about him, but Mueller announced that he was hanging up his spurs, and the conservatives are like...

 OK forget the title, I did from the onset. :;): I responded to what I'm sure you regard as the "substance". You say "Mueller caused chaos in the GOP" but never cited anything chaotic. Mueller didn't get any real reaction from the GOP because Mueller didn't say anything. AG Barr did take issue with Mueller, and he made Bob clarify his comments in writing. The GOP was unimpressed with Mueller's "last word" and they're now turning their attention to Nadler who's blocking a vote to subpoena slippery Bob. The disarray is amongst the factions in the DNC House ... Alinsky as I said would be ashamed. ::(:

Trump... for example. Giuliani with... this guy... I always forget his name... the dumber one on Fox and Friends.

And I think that's the narrative most will stay with in the end. If for no other reason, because they follow their idol.

Whatever GOP / FOX narrative you imagine most will stay with, has got to be wiser, and easier than ones you initially promoted, and then backpeddled on. You went from claiming Mueller proved Trump obstructed justice 10 times, to claiming only 4 times. When a Trump hating aficionado like yourself takes it upon himself to discredit 60% of Mueller's findings, why would any reasonably objective observer trust the other 40% is legitimate? I'm sticking with Barr's conclusions, and let you keep spinning the implausible ones that DNC / MSM keep trying to extract from Mueller's ambiguous Russiagate memo.

Seems like you are the only alt-leftie in the world that doesn't remember the candidate that gave you Donald J. Trump as POTUS. She is the one in this chart in blue.

You still haven't read the OP. Everything in it describes the messaging chaos that Mueller's statement caused among Republicans.

Here is another definite indicator that you didn't read the OP.

This shows you didn't even read so much as the first sentence. Disarray is the normal state of affairs among Democrats. We're used to it. We even kinda like it. But it may be lethal to Republicans

Good reasons to attack Mueller since it is not the job of a prosecutor to provide an investigation for impeachment hearings since he could not find enough evidence, that is exactly what he did. Very underhanded.

Here is the democrat clown show position.
