No I'm not asking for the normal anti-Trump bashers to heap their bile on him, I'm asking for his supporters to explain what they think of him? 1. The sun shines off his bright orange tan. 2. He's a flawed person but his virtues outweigh his faults. 3. He's no better or worse than any other president. 4. He's pretty bad but he enacts the policies we want. 5. He's terrible but at least he's given us a gorgeous first lady instead of Hilary. You see I always think lefties always think that somehow Donald Trump has hoodwinked his supporters but I actually think they know exactly what he's like, he's just preferable to the alternatives.
I thought Trumpets would sound when the second coming of Christ came but apparently we misinterpreted that. But do you see what God did by including the word Trumpets and the second coming of Christ? Coincidence...I think not.
Trump is one of the most flawed human beings we've ever put inside the Oval Office and yet simultaneously he's been one of the most effective and brilliant presidents ever. Weird, eh?
He is definitly flawed but I support the policies he enacts. I believe he represents what i want most especially out of the last election cycle beside potentially Rand Paul.
My theory was that people didn't vote FOR Trump but against everything Hilary stood for, snowflakes, safe spaces, no platforming etc etc
I didn't vote for a saint or a genius. I voted for that which least resembled whats been failing us for decades- career establishment insiders. And Im not disspointed with the results. Granted, I would've voted for a homeless crazy person over another Clinton or Bush, but Im glad Trump was the option instead! Ill be voting Trump in 2020.
I voted to get the courts right, Trump is doing that. Turns out he's not half bad at the rest of the job. Looks like four more years is highly likely...
Trump is size 42 clown shoes. I voted for him because I wanted the economy to boom, the courts to go conservative, and the leftists to weep bitter tears for my amusement. Trump has granted all my wishes.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: My support of Trump began and ended with his NOT being Hillary - and my position really hasn't changed. The guy is a boor. He has little class although I see moments where he transcends himself and shows genuine heart. His tweets remind me often of what my own students do - and I teach K-8. Nevertheless, Trump being the President has done a few things that have pleased me above and beyond the economy roaring: It's brought out the inner nutjob that many on the left have hidden all this time - going from the screeching REEEE of that woman crying when she heard the election results, to - well, you see representatives of that very thought here on this forum: The posters that promised that mosques and synagogues would be burning in a huge krystalnacht with Trumps election; that Muslims, Jews and Blacks would be herded off into camps. Even the posters that left a freaking discussion forum because Trump won - I mean, good grief, and that's not counting the - well you know, the one who bet his membership on Hilla winning and you know how THAT turned out. But then that leads to the inner fascist coming out from progressives as well; the candid admission that cheating to win is okay, "Just win, baby," - I mean, at least it's all out in the open now. If nothing else, Trump winning has brought out the truth about what the left really is and what they really believe.
Very much part of his appeal I think, for good or ill he was a genuine outsider to the Washington establishment.
That seems a common theme, the ability to influence SCOTUS, people are following RBG's health like a bookie scouting the odds.
In many ways that's the greatest justification for people voting for Trump, the reaction of the extreme left to his presidency.
President Donald J. Trump, for all of his many, many, many flaws........ and his near total lack of diplomatic skills....... has astonishing courage...... and many of the policies that he enacts give me valid reason to suspect that his IQ could well be in the range of 156 as one publication postulated. I also have the impression that he is really a RINO and I think that he will seriously consider certain aspects of the Andrew Yang campaign and he could well show the political courage to enact some variation on a Basic Minimum Income...... but I do think that he would tend to rather like my idea of using the Pro-Life movement to figure out a way to present this idea to the political right in such a way as to not commit political suicide as he perhaps plans implementation of something like this. Personally... .I think that the management of the Federal Reserve and the I. M. F. angered the wrong person back in 1991? ANDREW YANG FOR PRESIDENT 2020 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump
I cant stand the man, but I approve of his Supreme Court choices and his position on trade. IF, he does not get us into a war I may actually vote for him this election cycle.
I don't like him personally, i agree with most of his policies. I think it's good we got someone from outside of Washington DC in some respects. I wish he would slash government spending and lower taxes more. I wish in particular that we would slash things like NASA. We can explore more space after we pay off our debt. Paying off our debt should be priority 1.
Trump is a blunt instrument and I'm happy that I was able to weld it against the media and establishment. Also his policies on trade and immigration are in the right direction, and there was NO other candidate voicing those issues.
