I doubt help from the grandparents is a legitimate expectation regardless of the reason for the need. There could be no grandparents. The grandparents could be estranged or simply incapable. In fact, there is no guarantee that there are two parents available, let alone grandparents. We need to look at the reasons women choose abortion. Being a single parent in the US is incredibly difficult as well as being seriously expensive given costs such as daycare and healthcare and impact on work. It's no wonder that these factors show up in studies of why women choose abortion.
Like I said, if you don't like the 'rules', don't play. But don't then complain when life gives you grief.
Exactly. But if they failed to do that, they can make up for it later by being responsible grandparents.
We know the reasons, again. Women who choose not to act responsibly (by exposing themselves to a possible conception), regret their poor choice. If a woman is genuinely that concerned about the costs of raising a child, she won't risk a pregnancy.
Yes, but despite your protestations, women are humans, make mistakes and if they do have an unwanted pregnancy they can responsibly end it.
They are NOT obliged to raise their grandchildren...show me a law that says grandparents have to support their grandkids? Did you read the posts that explain that sometimes that's impossible? Or do you believe in a fairy tale land where everyone has two sets of grandparents who have no financial or health worries and live next door.? In the real world grandparents have their own problems...
The guilt that women get hit with after an abortion is more serious than those involved in the industry will admit. The Cry of the Aborted Children
Is there some way we could be sure the money would be yanked away for a while if she aborted? Maybe like she loses 2 years of payments for each elective termination.
Being a grandparent is absolutely AWESOME!!!!!! The pressure is basically off..... but my granddaughter's grandmother through mom is an angel from heaven who is there helping out continually! Right now is the perfect time to discuss the possibility of a Basic Minimum Income all over the internet due to the Andrew Yang campaign for POTUS! ANDREW YANG FOR PRESIDENT 2020
Just as well........ anybody who would think that five hundred dollar payments each month to all thirty seven point six million Canadians....... within a set of circumstances where about twenty percent of pregnancies are aborted..... would think zero change would occur.... ........ well.... well.... well...... Doofenshmirtz doesn't know much about us Canadians.
Unless you can read minds, you know as much as I do. Maybe you can educate me and explain where the government is going to get the $500.
I'm not 'protesting' it, I'm repeating it over and over again. Lest anyone forget about the woman's significant irresponsibility, and attempt to regard her as an innocent victim of her own biology ... as though she doesn't know how babies are made.
But...... many guys are really, really, really, really convincing with words.......... and she believed that the guy was going to want to be with her forever....... and the fairy tale was beginning for her! Genesis 3:16 ¶ Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
Simple...... ready my 2006 campaign writing here: or here: Clarification....... Cities, towns and municipalities did not borrow directly from the Bank of Canada.... the provincial governments got the loans for them in one lump..... and distributed them out to what they thought was the more worthy projects. About a decade or so ago I was listening to Sun News Media, and if I remember correctly it was Brian Lilly interviewing Economist Steve Keen. Mr. Keen gave P. M. Stephen Harper for what he had accomplished in the previous year. He stated that for every ONE PERCENTAGE POINT that P. M. Harper's policies had kept interest rates low....... HE HAD SAVED CANADIAN TAXPAYERS ROUGHLY THIRTY BILLION DOLLARS IN INTEREST PAYMENTS! So if P. M. Harpers' policies had kept the prime rate lower by two percentage points.... he had saved Canadian taxpayers ROUGHLY SIXTY BILLION DOLLARS IN INTEREST PAYMENTS.
