It seems that significant progress and movements have been made toward the human return to the moon and many other aspects of United States expansion. Here is a pretty good synopsis:
Super cool video!! I'ts really great to see the private contributions and how they fit together into the future. The Musk technique of dispersing 60 satelites from one lift vehice - amazing!
Asteroid mining might not always require digging equipment. Asteroid Bennu looks pretty much like a dump truck dumped its load, leaving what might be able to be simply shoveled aboard! It's so rocky that NASA is using citizen scientists to help identify a landing site - which has to be selected by July 10. https://www.nasa.gov/feature/nasa-invites-public-to-help-asteroid-mission-choose-sample-site

Right now the moon is ablaze with explosions which we don't know what they are. I don't think anyone is going there until we figure out what's causing it.
Well they are bright flashes of light, presumably explosions. We don't know what's causing them. The best guesses are asteroids or volcanic activity release gasses. https://www.popsci.com/moon-flashes-mystery-space http://www.breakingnewstime.com/wha...ight-on-the-moon-scientists-launch-new-study/
There are lots of strange things going on up there so thinking we are going to establish a colony before we know what they are is kind of foolish in my opinion. Even if they are just meteor impacts a single one of those would take out your colony since there is no protection from it.
