https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48395611 There are ten candidates standing at the first ballot to be the Tory party leader and PM on Thursday. I reckon the first to be eliminated will be Hancock. What do you guys reckon?
Sajid Javid reminds me of Igor from Count Duckula Sajid Javid should pledge to decriminalise recreational marijuana. Since he has no plans or intentions to, this Igor like figure can go.
His ratings have gone up considerably since he got the backing of Ruth Davidson. As far as decriminalising recreational marijuana, although it is now supposed to be legal for medicinal use, the cost is apparently £40,000 per year and apparently no Dr's have prescribed it. Given that our country is the no one producer of medicinal cannabis in the world, this is ridiculous. Given that they will not even supply that, I cannot see any of them decriminalizing recreational cannabis. According to the sun, here are the current odds https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3761507/who-next-uk-prime-minister-odds-may/
the EU does not like the favorite who they see as Britain's Le Pen or Trump. https://www.theguardian.com/politic...ership-candidates-deeply-critical-say-sources
First out probably this fellow Matt Hancock refuses to rule out staying in EU after 31 October On the other hand perhaps he will be the surprise winner! He says those who promise to leave by 31st October are being dishonest as Parliament will block any No Deal and points out that trying that would result in a General Election which would of course be disastrous for the Tories.
I think it's extremely humorous again, what Borsi Johnson said about mental bullshit and how many believe that crap. You have to be really "stoned", that the brain is so turned off to believe the garbage! Literally: "the 31st of October is the definite exit date, even without a deal, so he wants to force the EU to further concessions!" I get a laugh attack ... The EU is now so scared to death when it should come to a no deal ... not even the janitor in Brussels scares. The EU has long since given an answer ... "then it works without a deal!" And ... who will decide in the UK how and when the Brexit will happen, eh? Tipp: It is not a maybe new PM Boris Johnson!
Looks like I got that wrong. Apparently the blond moppet sailed through, while Andrea leadsom, Esther McVey and Mark Harper got the Spanish Archer. Amazingly Matt Hancock is still in the race, having picked up 20 votes Still, that is show business.
According to the Guardian, Boris has it done and dusted. https://www.theguardian.com/politic...ory-mps-start-voting-for-new-leader-live-news Trump and Boris - when is the next General Election?
Halloween. If we are out of the EU by 31 October 2019 then Boris is home and dry. If not he might as well send a tape measure to Nigel Farage so that his latest squeeze can measure up for new curtains at Number 10.
Both of those would result in the end of the UK. I though am not convinced that the majority of English would vote in that way.
Apparently Hancock has jumped ship as well. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-48631706 To be honest I could never take the poor bugger seriously. With a Health Secretary called Hancock it does not matter what he says, all most folk can hear is, "A pint! That is a whole armful!"
Another angry voice speaks of Boris's tactic of bribing the rich to become PM. https://anotherangryvoice.blogspot.com/2019/06/boris-johnsons-tax-bribe-certainly.html
thought that idiot was studying in Oxford? What did he study there ... stupidity and idiocy? Funny enough that all the Brexit idiots who caused the current chaos in their UK are all graduates of Oxford. Is a really good advertisement for the university ... Speaking of ... what is Theresa May doing now? She is probably now in the same self-help group "anonymous failed female politician" in which Hillary Clinton is already in it.
Looks as though Raab is out, Javid is as usual sitting on the fence and the nation's favourite ferret is hanging on by his press cuttings. Michael Gove - 41 Jeremy Hunt - 46 Sajid Javid - 33 Boris Johnson - 126 Dominic Raab - 30 Rory Stewart - 37 https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...is-johnson-tv-debate-bbc-brexit-a8963106.html
But there is a catch ... not the prime minister and not the government decides ... it will be decided by parliament. And we all know how terrific this Parliament failed since the end of March = the only reason why the Brexit has not happened yet!
Is he really human? He looks like a ferret with haemorrhoids. God knows why the MSM media have adopted him as a poster boy but it certainly has. The Brussels Broadcasting Corporation can't finish an article without giving him a plug as the next PM and even the Torygraph loves the little anorexic. So far it looks as though all the votes of the discarded candidates are being transferred to the remainers. I can't see Boris being stopped but I imagine that the parliamentary vote at least will be a lot closer than the first round suggested.
He'll say anything to get into power...I mean did you see him on that debate thingy yesterday? If there was a group of naffed off Cornish pixies he'd be sucking their whattsits for their votes!! Boy's a nightmare. Why couldn't he have just said what he thought...instead of hiding behind minced words and stuttering over half baked ideas just come out and said what he's been saying for years. Fight for the country for fukc sakes instead of pandering to all these liberal fukwits....ah bolloks I can't be arsed with this lot....they're all turds
