Trump Snaps When Asked If He’s Meeting Putin Alone: ‘You People Are So Untrusting’ President Donald Trump on Wednesday accused journalists of being “untrusting” after one of them asked if national security officials would be in the room during Trump’s upcoming meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/trump-snap-reporters-meeting-putin-alone-so-untrusting ........................................................................................................................... Gee, I wonder why anyone would have cause not to trust the prez (wink)? Equally as salient is the fact that Vlad's favorite candidate has met with Puitin in private on numerous occasions. Taking it a step further, Don has refused to allow transcripts of those conversations when there was a US translator in the room to be seen by anyone......including members of his admin. https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2019/01/trump-putin-meeting-interpreter-notes Not to mention Don's more than curious behavior towards Russia and Putin during and after the campaign. A period of time that included negotiations with Putin over building a Trump Tower in Moscow and Trump's denial of Russia's help. If we are "untrusting," and we are, there is great reason to be.
Presidents meet with foreign leaders in private all the time. What is the issue here? You know that if they wanted to secretly discuss something they have secure phones they could simply call each other on. If we knew everything presidents discuss in private meetings they wouldn't be discussing very many things anymore and little would get done.
Ah, so you can't trust someone that has been accused of baseless accusations for 2 1/2 years. Bet you still believe the hoax narrative.
This being your fifth hate Trump post of the day is also a nothing burger. Now you can feed a foresome and have one for yourself.
Without a transcript kept of the meeting? Ummmmm NO,!! Having a transcript of the meeting is a BASIC cya move (cover your arse). If you do not have a transcript and the other does have one then bing! Entrapment!! Not doing basic CYA stuff is how you put yourself in a position to be blackmailed
Um, if there is no transcript what would you need to cover your ass from? Seems to me that the only possible way to get in trouble is if there is some sort of recording of the meeting.
Putin phones Donnie “comrade that meeting - be haf transcript but we altered it a bit - it now says you want to sell Alaska to us for $2.00. Ve vill gif it to CNN unless you agree to buy Russian oil, buy Russian guns and weapons also be do want Alaska and will make you offer that will look good on TV. Say 14 billion, tell faithful that it is good bargain. On second though make that Hawaii. Climate is better” Ask any lawyer how they would feel going into a meeting where only one side had an official recording
Well that would be a transcript then. What did I say again? Having a transcript is the only way to get in trouble. You don't think our government can detect recording devices? lol Putin holding a tape recorder up to the phone as he talks to Trump is not really going to convince anyone. lol, you folks are funny.
You simply are not tracking the underlying logic No problems others do. I will make it simpler Vlad had a transcript Donnie does not Vlad now holds ALL the aces
Trump: "Its a fake transcript and we are going to introduce legislation increasing our previous sanctions on Russia for this blatant lie". Done deal.
It's not Trump. Maybe its Alex Baldwin working with Russia because our Secret Service ensured there were no recording devices. It was a secure line and they could be detected easily.
Okay, well, you will love this. On Tuesday Trump was asked by a Wall Street Journal reporter about Kim Jong Un’s half brother, Kim Jong-nam, who was killed in 2017 while serving as a source for the CIA. “I saw the information about the CIA, with respect to his brother, or half-brother. And I would tell him that would not happen under my auspices, that's for sure. I wouldn’t let that happen under my auspices,” Trump said. On Wednesday, Trump was asked about his unwillingness to use CIA informants to spy on North Korea. The reply is classic Trump. “No, it’s not what I meant. It’s what I said."
Lee, you have to be more understanding of Trump. If you were in his shoes, you would do the same thing. He doesn't want Americans to know how he is being extorted by Putin. Then, of course, there are Trump's past money laundering operations involving the Russians. He needs to keep them from the public as well. Try to show a little compassion, okay.
