In my estimation Japan has always been a better ally than Germany. Why would I be angry? Are you angry that Trump is a Nationalist and doesn't cow tow to the EU??

East Germany was not influenced by american propaganda. It kept the german prussian spirit. After reunion the west hoped this would adjust. It did not. Infact even the generations born after reunion, like myself are very critical towards USA. And even the oppossite happened. We spread into the west. So while west Germany could not influence much, we do this on them. The AfD is another example.

It gets its power from eastern Germany mostly but forces its agenda on the others.
