Iran has increased its offensive cyberattacks against the US government and critical infrastructure as tensions have grown between the two nations, cybersecurity firms say. In recent weeks, hackers believed to be working for the Iranian government have targeted US government agencies, as well as sectors of the economy, including oil and gas, sending waves of spear-phishing emails, according to representatives of cybersecurity companies CrowdStrike and FireEye, which regularly track such activity. https://english.alarabiya.net/en/Ne...age-cyber-campaign-amid-tensions-with-US.html This is one where Iranians could bring the war home to the United States
Well your paper is a Saudi sourced one. I have heard though that this century cyber war will be the main type of war though given the way the US is stepping up nukes, maybe not. The US is already using cyber war on Venezuela. The US 'sanctions' on Iran amount to war - I hear legally that is so, so Iran fighting back is what would be expected.
Supplying terrorist is war, i guess America fighting back it to be expected. Only problem is Saudi Arabia shoukd be getting the same treatment.
