wordsmithing comes in many forms, hidden messages, alt meanings... one's creativity is another's allegory...
QUOTATION: “When I use a word,” Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, “it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.” “The question is,” saidAlice, “whether you can make words mean so many different things.” 2019. Lewis Carroll (1832-9. Respectfully Quoted: A Dictionary ... https://www.bartleby.com › ... I like certainty in my definitions. So many words have taken on nuances and shades of meaning, you have to be careful that what you mean is what's understood.
Yeah right - yet again I have to remind everyone I'm here, then out of pity someone mentions me? But hey, 'there's no such thing as bad publicity' so they say?? Thanks anyway, Sal.
not just the words, but the phrasing & context combined... wordsmithing gives different insight into each responder, provoking thought which is the endgame... take the quoted passage above, the projection is that you want people to trust your every word by saying you take them at their literal sense, yet you admit words themselves have so many meanings, nuances as you say, ergo deciet is in the air due to the contradiction, and you will gain insight into each responder to the passage and so will everyone else, including the responders, and that is what wordsmithing is all about as i see it...
What a lovely and unexpected surprise; it gives me a warm glow inside, just like an Oscar winner would have. I want to thank my Mom, my producer, my director, my aunty Sheila who lives in Australia, Tom, Dick, and Harry, and last but not least every man and his dog. (Your cheque's in the post Chef Don't spread it around I had to bribe you though! )
Not sure why. I really do not hate any posters in here for the most part. I may agree with somebody, or not agree with them. I do not judge if I like or hate a person based purely on if they agree with me or not. In fact, many in here can testify that I will agree with a person in one thread, and not agree with them on another. I do not take such stances personally, I only try to give out information based on how I see things and the way the evidence points. I reserve "hate" for those that are generally reprehensible individuals. Racists first and foremost, I hate all such individuals even if their beliefs in other areas might align with my own. Use racist slurs or hateful language against other individuals, and expect to have me hit the IGNORE button and end all future interaction. The other is basically lying, and there are many that fall into this category. Be deceitful during an exchange, especially inserting thoughts or words into the mouth of another, that is also a quick way for my "hate" to come out and cause the iggy button to be pressed. There are several like that in here. They get so passionate they then say something like "But you said.....", and no matter how often you demand they tell you where you said something, they insist you did but can never prove it. I block fools like that also.
