They are very real - just check out the Australian museum https://australianmuseum.net.au/learn/animals/mammals/drop-bear/ Or the Australian geographic https://www.australiangeographic.com.au/news/2013/04/drop-bears-target-tourists-study-says/
Well half of us ARE women Now just because we do not condone a ***** grabbing rapist does not mean we are not “real men”
Indeed...and to whom does the "poozy grabbing orange man" first turn to when he wants an ally.....militarily? Little old us.
So sexual attraction plays absolutely zero part in it. If Trump walks down a dark alley and sees Anna Kendrick, then does the same and sees a fat, balding African disabled man, he is more likely to rape the latter? Because it would be more of a power trip?
That is exactly what Carroll was talking about with her comment about people who think of rape as a sex fantasy. That was her whole point. In reality, it's no "fantasy", it's just horrible.
“There is, as always, a certain clarity to Trump’s cruelty. The president seems to understand, on some level, something profoundly true about the creaking mechanics of misogyny: Sexual abuse is not, ultimately, about sexual attraction. It is about power. It is about one person’s exertion of will over another. In this way, “She’s not my type” is deeply entangled with the president’s long-standing habit of dismissing unruly women through his negative assessments of their attractiveness: the women as the sexual commodities, Donald Trump as the discerning consumer.” https://www.theatlantic.com/enterta...l-rape-allegation-not-my-type-defense/592555/
Absolutely... he's the embodiment of the old school locker room a-h o l e. Just a foul mouthed egotistical misogynistic gross slob. That's why his base likes him so much...because he's like them (except he was born with a silver spoon crap load of money). They all want to be the "big" man, the "rock star", the macho warrior. it's hilarious and pathetic and sick all at the same time.
Does Trump rape women? Is a bullfrog waterproof? Trumpets, as usual, are fifty years behind the times socially. They're still in the "she asked for it" stage of enlightenment.
As soon as she said rape was sexy the shark was jumped but book deal + allegations are always suss regardless of partisanship.
It was rebarbative comment to make. No one much less a President should be making such a remark regarding someone who is an alleged rape victim.
Surprisingly not everbody's into "psycho" Occasionally a John Bobbitt comes along, but for the most part the crazy ones are INCEL.
Really? Come Down Under and always keep a wary eye skywards. They are vicious nasty buggers. We have all sorts of wild life, even not so wild life which will snuff you out.
I watched CNN unlike you Pretty obvious who didn't watch it still pretend all you like preaching to converted in an echo chamber is your thing.
So you are in fact agreeing with me then that people are more likely to rape those they find sexually attractive than those they do not?
I'm a little confused by your post. She said that most people think rape is sexy, that it represents a fantasy. Is it your contention that she made a stand alone statement, "Rape is sexy?"
That's quite a selective filter you have developed. She said, "Most people think rape is sexy. It's a fantasy...." Most is a little much but your contention that she said rape is sexy is a total out of context effort on your part. Nice try but you got caught. Again.
Trump is a genius. He gets better and better at yanking Repressives' chains ,,, not that it takes genius to incite Repressives ,,, but he does it without any effort. Wannabe authors are waiting in line to write books about Trump raping them, colluding with Putin, blah, blah, blah. It's gotten to a point only the most mindless of Repressives are paying attention. That explains why Repressives are giving each other participation awards. See Zucker.
You should do your homework better. The woman in the latest allegation also alleges attacks by Les Moonves, the head of CBS. She is also writing and promoting a book called "What do we need men for?" She has never reported these ancient events- even though she has doing an interview with Moonves for Esquire magazine when she claimed that event happened in an elevator as she was leaving. Who would attemt to rape a reporter who had just interviewed you for an article in a national publication? What kind of reporter would fail to capitalize on that incident for decades, but now finds it appropriate when promoting her book? This woman's story is so full of holes it has zero credibility. Except of course, to democrats who will believe anything that is anti-Trump. Trump's statement simply said that she was not the kind of woman he would have been attracted to- and Trump would never have had a problem keeping willing women around- money and fame does that automatically. Probably had more trouble keeping the volunteers out of the way. It's another hogwash story- which you felt you should promote.....
Strange that we're arguing given we basically agree. People are more likely to rape people they find sexually attractive than those they are repulsed by, but power is an additional motive.
