Air drops over a small part of Berlin kept Germans alive? Oh please. We did not even allow your veterans to land there this year.

I´m from Thuringia. I was born after Reunion but it was Eastern Germany and part of warsaw pact. And in many aspects was better than the west.

Is a spit in your face gratitude enough?

That is of course true but it makes the assumption that Iran was going to have nukes in ten years. A far fetched assumption since there was no evidence of Iran trying to develop nuclear weapons even before the treaty.

Yeah but you allow yourself to be ruled by a mind-less dull-witted con-man and TV personality posing as a real estate tycoon who is almost incapable of uttering a true statement and spends virtually his entire presidency on twitter bleating out attacks on media and anyone else he thinks is picking on him.

So how smart can the US be? Hint, the powers in the national security complex think you'll believe anything.........because you sort of do.

@Sobo, did I miss your reply?

    Newsweek, really :roflol:

When was the last time Germany or any Euro stood up on their hind legs
like a real nation and deployed their military for a "noble" purpose
    without :flagus: involvement?

Even India has sent a couple of navy vessels to the Persian Gulf.
On their own. Like a real nation.

No one is more in favor of letting Germany and its' Euros
manage Persian Gulf security with no :flagus: assistance than Moi.
With German and their Euro tax payers paying the bill.

    C'mon @Sobo take some responsibility.
Or are you so sure the Russians will maintain your energy purchases?
    ;)

That is funny. You are third in that category

GDP of EU is 23 billion. Nr. 1. Thats also the reason why trump is so weak. He says we are bad and all that but doesnt do anything. Pathetic.

Only one thing rules me, reason. Only one thing motivates me, fighting for the future...and the future I want is that which is most rewarding to the human existence and its creative souls and independent minds, capitalism. Why? For the purely selfish reason of: it...makes...my...life...better, and that's the only moral justification I need.

Jeanette. I cautioned you once before about "tricks" being for kids--that's not hate, that's justice...and I'm loving it.

Yeah, I'm assuming, let's just say off the last 50 years of Islamic hell on earth, with maimed and ripped apart bodies exploding in every part of the globe, over a difference in religion, (an idea so anathema to America liberty that it fills one with disgust and contempt), that they are a bunch of religious psychopathic monsters. Sue me for trusting my senses, crucify me for fidelity to reality and vilify me for stating the obvious, but what is, is. And what is obvious is that the Ayatollahs are not friends of man, they are his executioners.

Still learning about those "tricks"? So if I see a gang of thugs raping a women, unless I willing to stop it, personally, I have no right to call the police? And that's your best argument? It is always best to let the professionals do what they do best professionally. Besides, the fight for liberty first must be won intellectually before it can be lived practically--best to know why you're picking up the gun, who it is you are pointing it at, and what do you hope to accomplish. In this case, stick a piece of nuclear liberty up the super-glued tight asses of the ayatollahs to rid man of the "pestilence of religious tyranny".

Sadly, as you so aptly demonstrate, time and time again, there is a lot of enlightenment needed.

You're being dishonest. The GDP of the EU, is 23 billion... in terms of purchasing power parity. Okay, fair enough, you (barely) beat us. But you're not number one, you're number two. China is above 25 billion.

And once you lose the Brits you're going to be number 3.

Hey man, third is still on the podium. Good for you. There's no shame in a bronze medal.

Doing a bit of research on WW2 lately and found something funny about the german armed forces. For most of their victorious campaign, the german soldiers and airmans were issued daily dose of pervitine, which was crystal meth in tablet form. Their agressiveness and cruelty can be directly linked to its use.

But later on, as the supply dried up only the SS had a steady supply, the tide of the war turned. So it's not that the german soldiers were brave or efficient, it's because they were jacked up on meth! The japanese used the same stuff with their oka pilot. The oka was a human guided kamikaze anti-ship missile. They gave them crystal meth so they wouldn't hesitate to ram the ship.

The UK will not leave. Evryone can see whsts going on. They got plunged into Chaos and would end as our protectorate.

That said, the only language we understand, is force. When Trump was new, we actually were nervous. You could sense it.

We made offers, show that we are good guys. But then Trump did...nothing. When we did not bow to his tariff tgreat but threatened counter tariffs...he backpedaled. This was his death. He showed weakness. Since then none of his threats against us became reality.

We became bold then. Broke our offers. Our trade surplus is bigger now than even with Obama, we kick american companies out, we treat american war veterans like **** during the Berlin event. We suppot Iran, build Nordstream II. We showed interest in F-35 and then denie it after Lockheed gave us the data and documents.

We humilate Trump. Merkel flies USA, ignores the government and hlds anti Trump speeches in Havard. We do direct diplomacy with California.

And what is Trumps response? Weak insults that we are "bad boys".

We Germans have the tendency to attack viciously when you show weakness.

BTW: Thanks for taking me off ignore. We don’t agree, but you are quite good at what you post, and it makes think, which makes my day more interesting. Though sometimes, like this post, you get a little flippant. Kinda like me, now and then.

I do assume the and prepare for the worst

Thats better than being caught flatfooted

As far as there being no evidence iran planned to go nuclear the world disagrees with you

The reason that all the major powers were engaged in the iranian nuclear deal was because they were convinced iran plans to go nuclear

Yes they will. And others will follow.

Not enough to change anything. You're at the mercy of our madman on this one.

And by "attack viciously" you mean "achieve a slightly higher trade surplus."

The fact is that you have to worry about us, because we're you're largest trading partner, and trade is a massive part of your economy.

For us, it is flipped. Not only are you a minor trade partner, but trade is a much less significant part of our economy.
