I don't. NOt all of it anyway. If you read the Noah story carefully it's pretty obvious that a hell of a lot was happening besides rain. Including a lot of vulcanism.
Given that it was practiced by everyone else in the world as well at that time and was heavily regulated unlike most other places...
Actually.... there is evidence that perhaps the USA has UFO technology..... and maybe the UFO event over the Temple Mount was a good way to divide..... and conquer...... because something that spectacular tends to divide the population into two main groups. One group thinks that the UFO's are in league with Satan.... and the other group thinks that the UFO's are sent by G-d! Could this UFO have been Made in America?
So god was able to come up with laws forbidding mixing wool and linen.... but could only regulate slavery?
Nobody with an IQ over 90 is going to buy that nonsense. I can produce any nonsensical video you want.
Regarding Jesus coming in the fullness of times, the Bible also says God wills that all people come to a knowledge of the truth and be saved.
Regarding those who never heard the gospel. We can turn to God at any moment and pray, "God, I'm sorry I've offended you. Please get me out of this mess and put me on the right track," and He will help us. It isn't Gods desire that people go to hell, but he gives us the free will to choose. Matthew 8 12 says that people who reject God do so because they love the deeds of darkness rather than the light. people don't go to Hell because they haven't heard of Jesus. They go to hell because they have transgressed the Law of Almighty God, which is sin (1 John 3:4). Titus 2:11, a very interesting verse, says, "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men." God wants to reach every person, and is making Himself available to all. Romans 1:20 also tells us that God's invisible attributes are clearly seen in nature, so that men are without excuse. Since His grace appears to all men, but there are some who go to Hell, the bottom line is that people are rejecting God and wanting to selfishly choose their own way in life.
And one possibility is that Ezekiel chapter 37 is not merely a one time event... but happens again and again and again and again....... as G-d creates new time lines to lead many of the formerly lost to salvation???? That is just a strange theory of mine..... http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ltiverse-theory.424926/page-9#post-1069793032
The genocide was ordered by God because those people had become so evil and demon possessed. The worst of their practices was child sacrifice.
It did, they executed Murderers. Slavery was often, in many countries including Rome, a last option to avoid starvation in hard times.
I don't know that I'd go quite that far. Desperation is, after all, desperation. But the world prior to really about the time of Charlemagne maybe even as late as Frederick the Great was an utterly alien place to what we have now and not just not because of Technology either and judging it by modern standards is a bit absurd
Behavior sir is behavior. Behavior that people engage in that some people find at best distasteful, no matter how one chooses to justify it is still behavior that people find objectionable. We regulate all sorts of behavior. If NYC can in essence fine people for consuming sugary drinks, why can it not also choose to fine people for engaging in homosexual acts if it so chooses? You were born that way is an excuse? Sorry doesn't cut the mustard. There also exists some evidence that pedophiles are born that way and quite possibly sociopaths. Do we let them off the hook because they were born that way? I don't think so.
Here is “heavily regulated” …20If a man strikes his manservant or maidservant with a rod, and the servant dies by his hand, he shall surely be punished. 21However, if the slave gets up after a day or two,the owner shall not be punished, since the slave is his property.Exodus 21. V20-21 So in summary.... you can beat a slave hard as you want, so long as he does not die quickly.... so sayeth the bible
yep and the bible said it was ok to beat your slaves as long as they lived more then a few days after what a loving God https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus+21:20-21&version=NIV "Exodus 21:20-21 New International Version (NIV) 20 “Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result, 21 but they are not to be punished if the slave recovers after a day or two, since the slave is their property."
Which was a distinct improvement over the rest of the known world at the time where in you could pretty much do anything you wanted to your slave including kill him or her for any reason or no reason without fear of any punishment at all.
Modern standards are enough, millions killed by AIDS and even today 67% of new AIDS cases are gay males, according to the CDC.
There would have been no US slavery if the Bible had been followed, which prohibits kidnapping in both the OT and NT. US slavery was based on that. US slave owners also could do anything they wanted to slaves unlike humane OT commands. In the US, slaves were sub human property to be disposed of as wished, much like the unborn today. Some OT slaves were voluntary bondsmen, i.e. slaves for a set period of time for their own betterment. A significant number of people came to American in the early days under the same conditions. Remember the anti-slavery movement was begun in the Judeo/Christian West and no place else. Christianity ended slavery twice, once in the Roman Empire and later in the West. If only Islam would someday end slavery.
