    Why would you prefer Iran become the dominant force in the ME and the destruction of the free world's biggest ally in the region? What is it that drives you to support the Ayotollah's?

    No that's more of what the allies did to the Germans.
    What we have done since ww2 is halfassed everything for political reasons and all that does is postpone the inevitable and get more people killed than just a straight up all out response.

    That would mean they can shoot back. Even their little speed boats got like 10 missiles to shoot.
    What do you think what would happen if they shoot an oil tanker?

    and if there is no vote then the UK commited a act of war and piracy plain and simple wich puts iran in his right to retaliate against Uk ships to

    The Brits trained their guns on these boats and had they not turned, would have shredded them. Iran should be getting the message that the UK and US WILL shoot.

    We should immediately and unilaterally INVADE Iran. The grateful people will overthrow the mullahs and convert to Christianity enmasse after which they will rename Tehran as Trump and promise us free oil forever..

    If we were concerned about that why did we take out saddam who was the natural counterbalance in the area?

    Why don't we mind our own business, pull our troops out of the area and tell Israel to quit settling the west bank?
    Then tell Iran we will end the sanctions when they agree to UN inspections and an end funding Hamas.

    To suggest, therefore, that it must do the "Mommy, may I?" thing--with the UN, of course, acting as mommy--is to reduce it to a mere part of some global entity...

    Iran is powerful, but she could not destroy Israel. They are not adjacent to each other so a land invasion is out of the question. Israel has a large, modern airforce qualatively superior to Iran's. Iran
    has sophisticated anti-aircraft defenses but I do not think they have much offensive air power. Finally, Israel propably has nukes.
