Donald Trump regularly says and does things of questionable character domestically and on the world stage, this much is well known. My question is directed to our membership as a measure of how this is perceived by the American public.
Yes. Trump has damaged the USA brand. We are no longer seen as the Good Guys around the world. Reagan talked about a "shiny city on a hill," when he described America. Trump's motto is, "get off my lawn".
I do feel he's offensive. I voted against him twice already. I will vote for him in the upcoming election, but that's because he hasn't messed things up too much. He's still better than any dem running for President.
I do wish he would get off and STAY OFF of idiotic platforms like Twitter, but although I do occasional 'face-palms' over some of the stuff Trump comes up with (especially if it contradicts what he said only a short time before), I would not say that he has been "offensive". By contrast, when America-hating radical Democrats start belching out a lot of hateful, deceitful crap like they did when Brett Kavanaugh was being considered for the Supreme Court, I find that HIGHLY offensive, libelous, slanderous, treasonous, and unconstitutional!
He says some dumb stuff from time to time. Most of it is just that he is not a polished speaker, he says what he thinks and doesn't care what others think about it. From that stand point he's incredibly honest. Crude but honest. Yes he is at times offensive, but if he is saying something true and people are offended by it, i agree with him. Too damn bad. Ms13 is a bunch of of thug animals Somalia is a craphole Baltimore is rodent infested These are all true and noone has the right to be offended by the truth. I defend him often because so many insist on lying about him, but i don't support him. I did not vote for him and i won't in 2020. He just isn't a conservative.
Of course. The man is a big stupid baby with a fragile ego (though he can be hilarious when he trolls the Left!). Having said that, if he's keeping you all fed and out of unnecessary wars, why does any of that matter? He inherited a horribly divided nation, which ramped up that division in response, rather than working together to reduce division - yet he's still doing an okay job for a big stupid baby with a fragile ego who has to walk into the wind of a dangerously ideological opposition.
When he gets kicked out of the White House the first thing that needs to be done is have the whole place fumigated.
I love it! That is EXACTLY what I said when we were about to FINALLY get Comrade Obama and his tribe out of the White House....
We have been murderous thugs around the world, on behalf of bankers and defense contractors, for a long time. Nobody thought we were a shiney city when Reagan said it
I am not offended by him at all..... but I have wondered if he could be the reincarnation of King Nebuchadnezzar or a series of other military and / or political leaders in several of his past lives...... He has made serious errors yes.... but if he gets the chance to read this....... or if some of his high level supporters put this in front of him.... he impresses me as somebody who might take that Cyrus Challenge that you and I and AboveAlpha and several others also took...... Gentile support for Jewish temple or temples and world economy....
I’ll take actions over conversation when pursuing a result. President Trump is tenacious when those who oppose him attack. The unrelenting vitriol of the Deep State, Democratic Party, its membership (including the Media) and followers have thrown his way would have destroyed a lesser man. President Trumps moxie and his Administration’s ACCOMPLISHMENTS are astounding considering the Leftist Liberal world frenzied attacks and unabated opposition. There is no Superman however President Trump is certainly the closest to that persona in the political arena he does battle in daily.
I find most Northern East Coast types to be, at times, crude. It's the way they survive each other. They can get in your face one minute and be your best friend the next. It's just a culture thing. I find it refreshing that we seem to have leader who stirs the pot and gets the conversation going. Agree or disagree, at least were talking, well maybe at times shouting. I think it is better than being left out of the discussion and having no say on what goes on behind closed doors. I sincerely believe all the angst comes from both sides who do not want to face the real issues. So, what next for the country? What choices do we have? Do we want to go down the path of Socialism and turn our country over to a bunch of radicals? Do we want to keep the status quo and try and make inroads towards some of our problems? Gingrich and Clinton did it. Reagan and O'Neil did it. Then again, we can play the game of obstruction, and do our best to make sure the other side gets no victory.
