An honest analysis would probably result in an infraction.

Not quite. The Assembly of Experts is an elected body. Its main function is to choose the Supreme Leader when there is a vacancy in the office but it also has the power to dismiss the Supreme Leader. The latter power considered somewhat theoretical because of what you imprecisely and imperfectly alluded to.

Your link says that the so called assembly of experts have to be approved by the so called Supreme Leader. Read it yourself: "However all directly-elected members after the vetting process by the Guardian Council still have to be approved by the Supreme Leader of Iran before gaining membership to the Assembly of Experts".

Good plan. It would destroy Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Israel, Jordan and Emirates. It woupd end any american presence in the region. Iran would destroy the saudi desalination plants, oil rigs. Israel would cease to exist as a nation.

The endresult will be a radicalized Iran, Israel overrun from all sides and Saudi Arabia collapsing.

Yes but the approval (as opposed to the vetting) is a formality. In any case, elections to the Assembly are contested between groups and candidates aligned with the different factions in Iran. If you are truly interested, you can read about the last elections to the body to get a sense of how it works.

I think where Iran has strength as well as in its air defences is in cyberwarfare. Of course boots on the ground would be a disaster for the US which is why they never mention it...but cyber warfare I was hearing the other day that Iran is as good as the US....and then of course there are the others who will be coming to support Iran from many different places.

    http://www.thetower.org/article/iran-has-built-an-army-of-cyber-proxies/

That was in 2015. They are a lot better now.

I understand that a couple of weeks ago Iran and China agreed to share on same.

I think all the war hungry people should take a nap and learn the art of diplomacy. The US and Israel have not attacked Iran before because their military tells them it is not winnable, certainly not in the way Iraq was.

I understand how it works in Iran. You want me to believe that the Ayatollah isn't a thug dictator and that everything in Iran's government is run like a democracy. Funny stuff.

If you fault "Iran's government is run like a democracy" then you have no one to blame but yourselves and your CIA. But I'm sure you never heard of Mohammad Mosaddegh, "Operation TP Ajax", and the American puppet Shah.

The people of Iran were much better off under the Shah than they are today.

Iran already hacked america sucessfull american powerplants in the last years. Even banks and casinos.

I think they should try to fry one of your nuclear power plants.

With a melting core your nation would be to busy to do ****. You dont wage adventures in foreign lands, when you have a reactor spilling ionized radiation into the sky.

That would be because they were doing what the world dictator wanted and was their poodle. Now it threatens them with genocide if they do not give up their right to self defence.

Yes, we love migrants so much, that we lock them in liban concentration camps and basicly blocked entry to 97% since 2015.

While Europe was able to stop migration, USA is flooded by migrants. Even africans fly mexico now to enter USA. Trump is all talk.

I like my migrants, dried aged in the Sahara.

I'd rather be a poodle with a safe home and plenty of food than a poodle living in a kennel.
