    The wall hasn’t been built yet because half the country has exhausted every resource they have to try to prevent it. Now you guys are lecturing us for the president we voted for not having built a decent border that you are so strongly against?

    And why didn't the Democrats do something about the DREAMERS when they had control of the house, senate and WH in 2009 and 2010???

    I probably am not the first to say this, but congress decides how much to spend and where to spend the funds. Also we have private industry constructing the wall visioned by Trump.

    Also repairs or replacement to the shoddy fences constructed by Obama clearly are needed.

    We have NEVER had total control of both houses during Trump tenure. NEVER. The Senate has not been ours to run entirely. We would have killed the ACA had we had such control.

    You had total control from january 2017-January 2019. You could have appropriated all the money you needed to build the entirety of trumps wall. But you chose to do exactly nothing other than give your donors a welfare handout.

    We did have more on our side in the House. But the rules of the Senate vastly differ from the house granting Democrats power to block laws. So we did not have total control.

    Recall when we were in the minority during Obama and he kept saying we blocked him then?

    Nope. Reconciliation could have been used to appropriate all the money needed for the wall. Instead, you used reconciliation to give your donors a welfare handout.

    Oh gee! Donny didn't get what he asked for! Let me punch his TS card. What is so hard about this? We don't want his wall. He's not going to get his wall. He may want the wall. His base may want the wall. The majority of Americans don't. So Donny can stamp his little feet all he wants, until he turns red in the face --- no wall. Does he want border security or his wall? Work with it.
