"some of the best sex i had with a women, she had a great big penis" said no normal person...ever Women have vaginas, men have penises. I think this was covered in 6th grade, before the cheese slipped off the worlds cracker.
FTR an absence of subject matter knowledge does NOT "imply you are stupid". In order to do that the implication would have to have been an inability to acquire the relevant subject matter knowledge. That was NOT implied.
One thinks they would be included in the less than 1% that had "regret" In any case how do these people "pick your pocket or break your leg"?
OK, lets try this again (and see if you can post proof instead of make me the topic, as your excuse)You claimed the trans suicide rate is higher because their 'theist' families reject them. Care to post evidence?
Cognitive Dissonance amongst those who cannot accept anything more nuanced than a binary concept might explain what is causing this furor over a small subset of the population who do not belong at either end of the gender spectrum.
Already did exactly that in #31 above. http://politicalforum.com/index.php...-mental-illness.558685/page-2#post-1070786549 Fundamentalist and evangelical Christians have a documented history to being hostile towards members of the LBGT community even those amongst their own families.
Evangelicals are hostile to just about anyone that's not another EXACTLY like themselves. They make a great show and fetish of loving everyone but that's a thin facade, quickly dropped. The main reason Fundies even have religion, to my observations, is because it gives them a convenient justification for hating just about the entirety of humanity, and a quick and easy way to classify people as one sort or another of scum
Agreed! The irony being that by embracing the BLOTUS they have effectively destroyed the facade that they tried to hide behind.
Don't you have any compassion for the mentally ill? Should we just stand by and let them destroy themselves? How is that any different from letting someone shoot up coke? Actually, I wouldn't care much at all if they weren't trying to normalize this sexual disorder.
Unless it happens within your family or close friends grouping it is not your business and you are not welcome.
Well let's take a look. From your own source study: Practical support Always 320 (40) Most of the time 341 (43) Almost never 87 (11) Never 28 (4) So 83% have day to day practical support network, and only 4% list "never". Social support Yes 572 (72) No 205 (26) Clearly the majority here have social support as well. The vast majority also have social support consisting of other trans people Social contact with other trans people Yes 614 (77) No 166 (21) What are their actual problems: Risky alcohol consumption No 630 (79) Yes 153 (19) The majority of respondents (67%) reported less satisfaction with life in general. In addition, 74% reported less satisfaction with their finances, 61% with their occupation, and 68% with their recreational activities. Over half (59%) reported less satisfaction with their contacts with friends and acquaintances, 74% with their sex life, 48% with their family life, and 28% with their relationship with their partner. Last, 74% reported less satisfaction with their physical health and 73% with their psychological wellbeing (Table 2). YOUR source even admits: The modified stigma-consciousness scale did not maintain significance in multivariable analysis for the outcomes of suicide ideation and suicide attempts. suicide attempts and mortality caused by suicide and psychiatric morbidity, adjusted for immigrant status and prior psychiatric morbidity, were higher among transsexual patients after gender-affirming surgery compared to matched, unexposed cisgender controls It is also of importance to highlight that psychiatric morbidity is more prevalent among people applying for gender-affirming medical interventions.14 While some psychiatric morbidity could be explained by gender dysphoria caused by gender incongruence per se, some are related to other challenges, which if not addressed adequately could remain even after medical transition. Here's the kicker: THE STUDY WAS DONE IN SWEDEN. Swedish acceptance of trans individuals is higher than anywhere else in the world, yet their suicide rate is HIGHER than the US. The suicide ideation rate in Sweden is SEVEN TIMES that of the general population. They make the claim that "transviolence" is one of the root causes, yet the vast majority never experienced violence in lifetime: Lifetime trans-related violence No 613 (77) Yes 145 (19) Less than 20%. THIS IS HALF THE RATE OF ALL SWEDES WHO EXPERIENCE MULTIPLE VIOLENT INCIDENTS IN THEIR LIFETIME. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4587579/ It was found that 47–48 % of female and 29–31 % of male victims reported experiences of multiple forms of violence, and 33–37 % of female and 22–23 % of male victims reported violence by multiple perpetrators [5]
NO...this is YOUR definition. You should probably know by now that humans are more than just physical...they have psychological thoughts and behaviors as well...how each of us deals with our mental/physical being, assuming we are not under external control like drugs, is our choice. My question is why people like you need to judge others on their very personal matters? In what possible way can another human, who according to you chooses some alternative behavior, have any meaningful impact on you or others? Why does it bother you that when people in these categories number in the millions that State and US governments need to consider laws for their protection? What is it that you fear so much?
The laws which are put in place to assure society recognizes all 'people's' needs, to assure protection of all people, to provide a legal framework for people who are violated, etc. No matter what some people here think, fact is humans are not as simple to place them only in two categories; male or female, based on a penis or vagina. Why did society demand handicapped access to buildings? Whether it's a form of human evolution, or created by society and cultural changes, or exacerbated by greatly increased populations, instead of judging others just accept the general needs that should be afforded to them by society...
That's the easy out when a 6th grader asks. But, sexuality is absolutely NOT limited to external morphology like that. The hope is that people will continue to learn beyond 6th grade. Clearly, that does not always happen as we see people totally stuck in a 6th grade view of the world.
According to your opinion. Did you miss biology class? This line of reasoning is why this confused person, think it's an alien.
Do you like women because you decided not to be gay? Were it not for a choice you made to be straight, you too would be gay?
Then why do you think other men do? This is what struck me one day. I was raised catholic and was once very critical of homosexuality. But then I got engaged to a young woman and ended up with her younger brother living with us. He was 16 and gay. This gave me an entirely new perspective. Attraction to boys was to him what it was to me to be attracted to girls. I never once looked at another man and felt attracted or aroused. The idea of having sex with another man was always repulsive. But I'd get an erection over a hot woman in a heartbeat. He was the same with men. It is just who he was. Almost cliche, when he was a little boy, his mother would buy him things like toy trucks and guns. But instead he would get into his sister's stuff, play with dolls, and play dress up. Since divorcing I have made a study of human sexuality - for last seven years. I spent a lot of time exploring the state of sex online and was shocked by what I found and what I read. Fetishes are one fascinating area that I think gets back to a lot of the sexual diversity we see, People have sexual fetishes over the craziest stuff - anything you can imagine! There are even men who get aroused if a woman's third toe is longer than her second toe! For a small group of men, that becomes sexual and arousing. I grew to understand that everyone has a fetish or two and they often don't make sense. This is perfectly normal. And it speaks to sex and the brain. There is no such a thing as normal. Sexuality is all over the map. It can't be defined as this or that. The act of intercourse is the goal but we have a million ways to get there. It is probably natures way to ensure survival of the species - random trial and error, like all evolution. And sexuality is probably one of the most complex aspects of human behavior. Also, homosexuality exists in the animal kingdom as well. This implies that homosexual animals somehow help to advance the species. That or sexuality can easily go either way.
Desire comes from your brains, glands and chemistry. The idea that a system that complex is going to always come in one of two specific forms just isn't valid.
