A charity run by the wife of Rep. Elijah Cummings received millions from special interest groups and corporations that had business before her husband’s committee and could have been used illegally, according to an IRS complaint filed by an ethics watchdog group.

His wife, Maya Rockeymoore, 48, is the chairman of the Maryland Democratic Party and briefly ran in the state's gubernatorial race last year. The couple married in 2008. Cummings was once heavily in debt — in part due to hefty child support payments to his first wife and two other women he had children with — but his financial situation has improved considerably since over the last decade.

Rockeymoore runs two entities, a nonprofit group called the Center for Global Policy Solutions and a for-profit consulting firm called Global Policy Solutions, LLC, whose operations appear to have overlapped, according to the IRS complaint filed by watchdog group the National Legal and Policy Center on Monday. The complaint states that the arrangement may have been used to derive "illegal private benefit."

Look at other cities in similar dilapidation and there holds a unique truth: Democrats run them all.

How long will sewage run down the streets of San Francisco? How long will St. Louis, Detroit, and Baltimore, continue to rotate as the nation’s most dangerous crime infested metros? And how long will federal dollars keep chasing bad money with new?

None of the elected officials seem to know—much less care.

Why would they?

They look and see that Elijah Cummings has been a “public servant” for most of his life yet owns not one but two homes.


Bernie Sanders owns three.

Nancy Pelosi owns at least ten properties, and has a net worth of $29 million. On a salary of $223,000.

Baltimore's corrupt political class has crafted largely segregated urban hell holes that have ruined the lives of most of the people who live there.
To reform Baltimore all of its political leaders would have to be replaced.
All those responsible for managing its schools would have to be replaced.
All those responsible for managing its criminal justice system would have to be replaced.
Baltimore will have to be reinvented and then rebuilt to survive. Given the now fully exposed level of corruption and failure most of Baltimore's leaders at every level should be in jail.

Baltimore, like most of our major cities needs Reconstruction.
