Shooting unarmed innocent shoppers at Walmart with an AK-47 is *******n cowardice.

There are no excuses or reasons that can justify this atrocity.

It's unfair to say Trump has encouraged or inspired violent crimes against minorities. He never wanted it to happen.

He did state that the shooter did like him and thinks he is the bestest president ever.

But it HAS been a consequence of his perceived support of far right organisations and as such he should look to distancing himself from those groups

Trump needs to condemn such actions and step away from the people on the far right that inspire it.

Who are the people on the far right? Could you name some?
Steve Bannon surely is not. I have listened to all his speeches and interviews.

    That's funny.
Trump so obviously disapproved of it by shaking his head.

Did trump want this to happen, certainly not
Did trump inspire this guy... I doubt it
Otoh, is trump reckless with his words... yeah
It appears that trumps unconstrained reckless rhetoric is actually something that his supporters like about him

If you call hispanic illegals and rapists and criminals.... that is reckless
It is hard to imagine how such rhetoric would fail to inspire and reinforce negative feelings
It is not incomprehensible that someone might act on those negative emotions

I do not think that you can label a group as vermin
And then divorce yourself from the consequences

I would agree except Trump has incited violence at rallies. There's plenty of clips in 2016 demonstrating such. Also, it's wise to point out a month into Trump's first term, he was involved in a EO that would allow the mentally ill to own a firearm. I wouldn't say Trump's the cause, but has been a major contribution to events like this.

It is PERFECTLY JUSTIFIABLE to blame your BLOTUS when the KILLER believed your BLOTUS's LIES about immigrants and used that as his MOTIVATION to murder them in cold blood.

    https://www.latimes.com/world-natio...we-know-about-patrick-crusius-el-paso-rampage

The killer was a BLOTUS supporter who believed all of his RACIST bovine excrement and now TWENTY INNOCENT PEOPLE are either dead or wounded because your BLOTUS inspired this killer.

If you can't tell that Steve Bannon is a far right extremist that says volumes.

The List of Times the Media Has Called for Violence Against Trump or His Supporters Is Mind-Blowing!

"There have been over 538 violent attacks against Trump supporters since the 2016 election season." (and this is from mid-2018 )

The killer in his manifesto said that his motivation predates Trump and Trump had nothing to do with it. Should we believe your opinion about the killer's motivation or should we believe the killer?

Your BLOTUS has been an AVID SUPPORTER of white nationalists and they in turn have supported him because he is a MOUTHPIECE for their white nationalist bovine excrement.

What is not in the least bit surprising is that the killer, the OP and now posters in this thread are all supporting the BLOTUS. Not hard to figure out why that is the case.

Just watch, as the usual themes pop up-

They will blame the gun, they will blame the president, they will blame anything- except the continued tolerance and sympathy for mentally disturbed and dangerous people.
The gun didn't shoot anybody- it has no malice, no mindset, no hate. NO, it takes a PERSON with that mindset to use the gun- or any weapon- to kill.
A killer without a gun is still a killer. But a gun without a killer is only a tool- not unlike a hammer.

In fact, there were more people killed with hammers and clubs than with rifles of every kind combined. Per the FBI, data for year 2017.

As the investigation in El Paso unfolds, it will probably reveal that the shooter has been a disturbed and dangerous person for a long time.... but nobody acted on that.
