Would you argue that a person of German ancestry could be just as Chinese as any other Han Chinese person? I would think no, they couldn't.

 

This land was not originally white. Indigenous people were colored, and made up the majority of the land before white settlers came and committed a genocide.

White nationalism is not too far off from white supremacy. Think if out. Nationalism is basically thinking ones country is superior above all others, now add the idea that whites should be the majority. That’s not far from white supremacy.

And let's not forget, these loudly 'pro-diversity' types (who mostly have no idea what kind of diversity they're even arguing for .. having never thought about it beyond suntans) are almost always the most culturally Eurocentric and White. Few can tolerate the Brown life for longer than a saturday night dinner at their favourite Thai restaurant.

On that, the Blasian - black Asians, as they regard themselves - thing is quite interesting. For some reason there's a good sprinkling of younger black (as in, half) Japanese, and my goodness gracious me .. they are VERY Japanese. They look completely African, but are culturally as Samurai as it gets. Fascinating stuff. A good number of Blasians in South Korea, also ... and in fact there is a growing number of African Americans actually migrating to Korea. Life's gloriously rich tapestry!

Then, while you claim to know people who fall into this category, it appears that you don't actually know people who fall into this category. Actual white nationalists, including recent terrorist, absolutely are interesting in race, whether you choose to acknowledge reality or not. You won't find much support for white nationalism among progressives. You will find apologists for white nationalism here on this forum who aren't exactly progressive.

Progressives have their own trash, but racist terrorists here in the US are mostly on the RW side of the equation, as are the apologists who come out of the woodwork to defend their philosophy . . . including here on this thread if you care to address it.

There's a massive difference. Supremacists are about their own race, no matter where that race resides - while Nationalists are about place and culture.

If the scientist's and anthropologist's are correct that humans originated in Africa, then 100% of Europe, Asia, the Americas are all immigrants.

That said, a racist who’s honest is still a racist and someone whose word is very questionable.
