Oh please, no woman who doesn't not want the baby gets an abortion. That's a total red herring. "Health" is not a reason women choose abortions, unless something is very wrong and abnormal. When a woman is actually choosing to have a baby, most women would risk life and limb for it. It has much more to do with her readiness, or lack thereof.

I just said that's not a reason women actually get abortions (in the case of a normal pregnancy). Citing "trauma of pregnancy" is purely an intellectual reason for the sake of argument, not so much an actual reason. Show me a case where a woman was keen on having a baby but changed her mind and decided to get an abortion because she was concerned about the effects of a normal pregnancy on her body.
UH guh duh...if a woman wanted a kid then she wouldn't care what effect it has on her body... That does not mean that NO woman EVER had an abortion because of what it did to her body. PLEASE someday try to use some logic... You seem to be trying to prove this statement isn't true: Zeffy said: ↑ Not everyone wants to put their body through the trauma of pregnancy and childbirth.""" It is totally true …..have you even read it???? Oh, and thanks for that reason for not using adoption as a choice …
Could you try that again in proper and understandable English? I will not risk my life for a pregnancy I don't want and I know other women who feel the same way. Mind your own uterus and it's contents and let me mind mine.
Yes, something to think about. And if she doesn't want the baby, you claim those effects on her body justify her aborting it. That it would justify aborting a baby, if hypothetically that's what it was.
To me, that statement sounds pretty similar to if there was a man keeping a teenage girl locked in a dungeon in his basement, and he told a concerned neighbor to mind what's going on in their own basement. If we legalized female genital mutilation as long as the surgery was performed inside the womb, like during a cesarean, would that be okay? I don't think it would.
FoxHastings said: ↑ UH guh duh...if a woman wanted a kid then she wouldn't care what effect it has on her body... Uh, kaz….you seem to be rambling..... if you really have nothing to say about abortion why are you saying it ??? WHAT has your posts got to do with the OP ?? …. NOTHING.
No, there is NO similarity between the two....the man is NOT keeping a teenage girl inside his own body.....BUT YOUR EXAMPLE DOESN"T SAY GOOD THINGS ABOUT YOU.... And why would we do that ? Why would you even THINK of something so weird??? NO surgery is performed on the fetus during a cesarean.... What have your weird ideas got to do with the OP ? Nothing
O.M.G .. you think pregnancy and birth are 'trauma'? It's the greatest privilege a human being can possible experience. Nothing comes close.
Absolutely. There are too many who do it badly. But if you're not going to create a family, you need to ensure you have an incredibly good support network of friends. There'll come a day when you need others .. and lack of family causes huge problems for people.
While BIZARRELY, leaving out the giant elephant in the room. If she didn't want to put her body through the 'trauma' of pregnancy and birth, she wouldn't be pregnant.
Why not? Maybe she doesn't want to use birth control or give up sex.....that's her choice and it affects you in no way....
This is very important indeed and something that ought to be talked about more in media - What are the long-term costs of not having a family and what are the consequences of a lack of "extended family" an community? As for now, they are even promoting "the single life style" and then they are also asking themselves why contemporary youth is so unhappy, suicidal and aggressive. We are way too busy discussing nonsensical topics such as "transgender bathrooms" and abstract phenomenons out of our reach such as "climate change". I have some condition that makes it extremely risky to engage in reproduction, so it is very likely I will not have any biological children.
No one in the West will talk about it because the West has spent the past 70 years actively dismantling the family .. and even the idea of family. At no point did we stop and think "well, who's going to take the place of that family in times of need .. or even just the close and loyal companionship necessary for ordinary good mental health?". You can adopt though. That would be awesome
What would be the solution to this make believe problem? Forcing women to breed? That is pretty much what you're saying.....if people don't want kids they don't want kids...you can't change that.. Who is this mysterious "they" ? Why would anyone "promote" a lifestyle ?? Contemporary youth are all unhappy and killing themselves? What!? And, again , what is your solution?

No, this is what I considered a make believe problem (as I posted) "" Ritter said: ↑ This is very important indeed and something that ought to be talked about more in media - What are the long-term costs of not having a family and what are the consequences of a lack of "extended family" an community?"" Sorry , I thought you knew that a ? meant a question : ""What would be the solution to this make believe problem? Forcing women to breed?"" Who? What? Where? So go right ahead and do that.....NO one is stopping you.....but you cannot force the world to change for you...no one has to accept your idea of freedom.
Why do you consider those "make believe problems"? I am getting really sick of your constant strawman-building and bully-like strategies. For me it is obvious that your sole purpose on this forum is to provoke people you disagree with to break the rules, so that you get a reason to report them to the mods. I have had it with you. Enough is enough. PS. The constant change of font colour and font size is also very annoying since it makes it exhausting to quote your already unstrctured posts. The institutions. Culture. The West. As I said above; until you change your style and tone, I will not ever address any of your posts ever again. It is a waste of time.
