Then we mobilized our 52,247 interns to brigade his employer, us, with phone calls to report that we have a racist in our ranks. The writer was immediately fired. Our interns, known as TimesHelpers, chucked milkshakes at him as he sadly strolled through the lobby with his little NPR tote bag full of desktop knick knacks. Just as he reached the door we unchained Sarah Jeong and watched gleefully as she dismembered and ate him alive.​

Our customers’ pomposity and fragility are important to us. We don’t use words like ‘neurotic’ and ‘repellant’ to describe our readers the way shopkeepers, waiters, and dry-cleaners might. We think your quirkiness is the natural byproduct of the cosmopolitan, emotionally lavish life that you lead.​

Its not my consideration alone. Its a conclusion reached through consensus of many. Not to mention these journalists are usually always on social media offering up unpublished opinions and criticisms that quite clearly illustrate their leanings. Furthermore what possible reason is there to deny that the majority of media leans left? Its a fact. Its just a fact. I don't see what is gained by pretending otherwise.

And awards don't mean much to me when the body issuing them is made up of the people they're issued to. Think of it like the movie industry. All these award galas, who's deciding who gets awarded? Its members of their own guilds/unions/what have you. The people's choice as measured through public review and box office receipts rarely ever lines up with the internal picks of the industry. Now lets come back around to media. These awards you speak of go to people and outlets but the public's opinion and their viewership/readership numbers tell a different tale.

 

That would be an interesting thing to examine and I think the conclusion would be that Pres Trump benefits from their noise as much as they do. I heard this line, can't remember where from, but it went something like: Trump has the ability to use his Twitter account as a laser pointer and make liberals chase it around like kittens.

 

How many news anchors have appeared at any of the democratic nominees and spoke at the event?
Now ask that same question of trump.




So many are so focused on the camp fire across the mountain that they are completely ignoring the forest fire behind them.

Why can't we talk about all three of them? And when is the last time those two publications reversed a headline after buckling under pressure?

No, it's an argument that they're not being biased, a motivation for their actions of business and economics rather than one that was based on pure party politics.

 

So they admit that they're just in it to make money?

 

I’ve no idea what they’d admit, I’m only talking about my suspicions. In general terms I don’t think partisan politics is a primary purpose of any major news organisation, but it can be a means to an end.

 

And on the day journalistic integrity died we all stood back in awe. I don't think anyone can ever doubt Trump's assertion of Fake News again,

 

This is not a time for frippery, that political pressure can force a newspaper to alter its' editorial standpoint is appalling.
