In another odd quirk of fate the Federal Judge Robert Sweet who was overseeing the case for unsealing the court records from the Florida Epstein trial and reached negotiated settlement, has just passed away on last Sunday at age 96.So a new judge will have to be appointed to oversee that case.Should we REALLY appoint justices for life????Seems stupid to me bearing in mind how many seniors suffer from some type of mental failures.
Of course nothing you or I say will "change the situation". And I never claimed it would. But I see you've already substituted addressing the fact that Epstein's death means others will probably get away with merely "addressing Epstein's death". We're all "addressing his death" in one way or another in this thread. Hell, this began with you claiming that his untimely demise was a good thing, so you "addressed his death" already. But the point (and let's see if it is possible for you to stay on point for once) is that his death is not a good thing when it means that MANY other child molesters will probably get away due to lack of evidence. Epstein was not only a criminal; he was a potential witness. And even if he had nothing to say, a quick hanging was too good for him, and he escaped the full measure of justice he was due.
Clearly those running our Justice Department and it's subordinate Bureau of Prisons were just as much asleep on the job as the prison guards.
Ironic that Barr Barr Black sheep criticize the MCC and it's parent the Bureau of Prisons ,WHICH HE is the director of as Attorney General!!!!
