I give a sh*t, and I give a sh*t about what's become of the stinking corpse that was once our Fourth Estate. As for those who deserve to be reminded of their hypocrisy, I'm here for them. So nice of you to take the liberty of deciding for everyone else what this thread is about, but I say this thread is about the media's coverage of Trump and more. We all know Trump is a bloviating egomaniac - that's a revelation to no one - but anyone and everyone who thinks the MSM would treat any other Republican, Libertarian or something-in-between any differently is a damned fool. Unless they've got a (D) next to their name they're going to get subjected to the same hostility, dishonesty and childishness we've been seeing and hearing ad nauseam for the past 2 1/2 years.
No ! The Trumpocity is coming us out of our freedoms, our security against our enemies foreign and domestic, our safety, our economic viability, and if he could he would Con us out of our religious freedom in order to satisfy the Extremist Right Wing evengenical.
And yet income for Americans is up nicely since Trump took over. These year end numbers, last two for Obama and first two for Trump, tell the story. Rising incomes for Americans helps Republicans and hurts Democrats, does that bother you at all?
No the majority has not gone down. The past 5 yrs I was standard 1040 tax, always got back $2k+, until 2018, and everybody I spoke to got stung by the changes. This ridiculous notion that lowering taxes is the pancea of economic growth forgot what happened 12yrs ago.
Yeah, are local municipality just gave beach front developers 30 yr tax abatements after doing eminent domain on people's beach front property. Took them for $150k, and a historic hotel lot destroyed by hurricane for $25k. They are all crooks. There is no difference. They pay our police $125k yr and more, there is crime, but not that much.
Ok, so you're one of those people ---- the people who didn't change their withholdings, and judges their taxes based on the size of their refund check rather than their total taxes paid. Your taxes most likely stayed the same or went down, but if you didn't change your withholdings your refund may still have been smaller than in previous years, even though your overall taxes paid was LESS. I remember the Democrats trying to confuse people to make them outraged about their tax refunds ---- with total disregard for the fact that their overall taxes paid were LESS ---- and a lot of good articles were written to debunk the Democrats and explain witholdings vs total taxes paid. You could probably still find one if you searched. Plus, you still haven't confirmed if you're one of the people who lost their SALT deduction. You're the one who first brought it up, but now you're dodging......
Looks like you are still posting images for your uneducated left-winger friends. And I can see that you still can't answer these simple questions... What degree do you have? What company or companies do you own? How many people have you employed? How many jobs have you created? Have you ever created products/services that other people could use?
Well good for you. Keep fighting the good fight. As for me, I couldn't care less then to find out some anonymous person on the internet isn't logically consistent.
Yawn - this has been pointed out ad nauseam, it's is very much tangential to the thread. If you don't see that then, well, I don't know what to tell you. Let me assure you though that the OP had no intention of making any observations on the media or their coverage.
It seems like a logical conclusion. If you don't change your withholdings, net the same amount per check, and you refund goes down THEN YOU MUST HAVE PAYED MORE TAX. Right? Of course mdrobster hasn't said that his paycheck has been static but I'd give him the benefit of the doubt before you go all condescending.
No, nothing changed, find another excuse. You seem to deliberately forget, everyone else I spoke to in 5 states had the same issue.
Yawn - No, it's not, and I don't care how many times people have been wrong about that. You can tell me it's your opinion, which is all it is. I never expected that out of the OP, either, so the reassurance is entirely superfluous.
Oh brother. Bottom line: if you want to whine like a little trump about the big bawd unfawr media then start your own damn thread.
That was a reply to a post claiming that Trump is causing the loss of our freedoms. You are welcome to answer for him. Would you like to make a case for CA having taxes among the highest and is still the poverty capitol of the US?
By "nothing changed" do you mean you did not change your withholding? If so.....I already explained that. The fact is, what you claim makes zero sense unless you fit into one if the scenarios I already outlined, but you keeping dodging. The only logical explanations are that you either lost SALT, you live on welfare, or you didn't adjust your tax withholdings. I really don't even care about your personal situation, except that you came in here making a claim you can't back up, and now you're dodging every attempt to get to the bottom of things. At this point I'm figuring you were simply "mistaken" all along in your original claim, and you never expected to be called out on it. I'm sorry if I've sort of backed you into a corner. Good day. Enjoy your benefits under Trump which you don't even realize you're getting Projection is projection. You come here accusing others of doing the very things you are guilty of doing. If you have something to contribute to a discussion, I'm all ears. But the projection-disguised-as-a-personal-attack gets old and is a good way to find yourself on the ignore list.
It’s you libs who are angry and in need of therapy. I’m too busy working and enjoying life to pretend to care about what angers you.
Meet the People Behind Donald Trump's Popularity Less Rather Than More Education Trump's popularity was also consistently greater among those with lower levels of formal education. Which explains why Crazy Donnie says............. The poorly educated whites are the only ones stupid enough to believe that trickle-down economics benefits them.
