Better Boris Johnson than Jeremy Corbyn or some unelected EU bureaucrat commanding UK. At least Boris Johnson likes the UK. Not everyone was going to be happy, I'm just glad the people who want a no deal Brexit and those who champion UK seem to be happy.
Even Farage said that we would be able to negotiate a deal with the EU which allowed us to continue tariff-free trading with the EU post Brexit. He suggested that we could be Norway plus. Yet you (and Farage) reject ''the best deal possible'' in favour of throwing the UK economy under the bus with a ''no deal Brexit'' and are prepared to allow Boris to suspend the democratic process and abandon the GFA (and with it any chance of a new trade deal with the US) for your pyrrhic victory. The only thing that suprises me is how low Brexiteers are prepared to stoop.
Nonsense, we spread the values of Magna Carta and the Glorious revolution to the world. And we were instrumental in abolishing slavery.
The UK isn't clever enough to ban bleached chickens from entering the country? If several other countries, including Canada and Mexico, can trade fairly with the US, and each other, why can't Britain? And you'll not be told which flag to fly either, and your borders are your own.
So you think we should try to join the North American Free Trade Agreement but leave the European free trade agreement? Is that your definition of taking back control? Seems to me that the free trade agreement on our doorstep makes a lot more sense than the one on the other side of the Atlantic ocean.
Ruth Davidson is talking about giving up being head of the Scottish Tories after this copying Hitler and suspending Parliament as well as accepting that Scottish Independence is now inevitable.
Certainly. NAFTA doesn't try to control your borders, create anthems, flags, etc. Mexico and Canada remain independent It's strictly trade. Yoou can investigate if you want to learn more. Trade no longer needs to be 'on your doorstep' and never did. China and Japan are good examples.
Britain is Independent. Parliamentary Supremacy ensures it. This is why we have the pound not the euro, are not part of Schengen and still fly the Union flag.
If Britain is independent why all the problems and negotiations about leaving the EU? Brexiters won and still Britain is hamstrung.
Neither does the EU. Each member is a sovereign state, and the UK has more privileges and veto rights than many.
The vote was advisory, narrow, and fraudulently obtained. The question was badly worded, so that people were voting for all kinds of different reasons to a yes/no question. The negotiations have mainly consisted of Theresa May tripping over her own "red lines" as she tried to cobble together an impossible policy which meets the contradictory demands of all the warring factions within her own party.
Well, first of all the referendum had no power in law. It was an advisory referendum. Secondly, Parliament is supreme. That means Parliament and only Parliament has the power to decide how to leave. No plan to leave has been approved by Parliament. You can blame those in Parliament who refused to back the deal proposed by May for not leaving. We would have left at the end of March if it had passed Parliament.
Except that the man who claims to be fighting for the sovereignty of Parliament has just shut Parliament down to prevent it debating or contesting his executive actions.
Then why hold the referendum at all if the people's voice doesn't count? And of course Parliament will always rule over the sheeple if the sheeple let them. Nothing has been learned and it's unlikely history is even being taught in British schools. Hard to believe now that Great Britain used to be strong, independent and proud.
There is some very nasty similarity to that. Hitler took power, as a minority government, appointed, not elected, and than took over by emergency powers/ laws. BJ is not elected, just appointed by his party, no mandate from the people. This is very dangerous territory.

I think you'll find it is actually situated on the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in the 8th arrondissement.
