I have never considered myself racist, and lived my life accordingly. However events and attitudes over the decades have made me question certain aspects of this country and the people who dwell here. Between the intense violence in black culture and the refusal of many Hispanics to even learn English in an attempt to assimilate I have lost my compassion and patience...I have become Racist and they created me.
Viewing reality in an honest way does not make one racist. Saying blacks are not really human in order to justify owning slaves is racist. Thank democrats for that legacy.
I'm thinking it actually is....whenever there is a shooting in my city I instantly assume it is a black man responsible and literally 95+% of the time I am correct. For this simple reason I view every black man as a threat waiting to explode and purposefully avoid all of them.
No, it isn't. Racism occurs whenever one commits the Compositional Error Fallacy involving people as the class and a genetic trait as the property. The Compositional Error Fallacy occurs whenever someone improperly extends a property across other items within the same class, or across the class itself. Liking certain actions and disliking other actions is not racist.
It isn't... See my explanation above. That's because, when looking at crime statistics, black men commit crimes much more often than men of other races. You're correct more often than not because it is a black man who commits the crime more often than not. We have data that shows this. Now THAT is racism. Not every black man is a threat waiting to happen. Plenty of black people are law abiding citizens.
I suppose I am racist because I have a Confederate flag hanging on my wall. I actually took it down temporarily yesterday because i had a *gasp* black man come in our home to give an estimate on a leaky roof. Him and his fellow blacks are working on a house nextdoor and doing a fine job so I recommended them to my Landlord. Since I dont know the guy very well, it seemed proper to take the flag down during his visit. He could probably care less, as a grown man running his own business.
Both of my parents tried to make a racist out of me. I didn't agree with their attitude about blacks and thought for myself. Of course they grew up in a different time than I and that played a part in our different thinking. But blacks have a reputation they have earned and they have a hard road ahead if they want to improve the thinking of many people.
Try again. The Democratic Party did not even exist for over two centuries prior to the introduction of slaves into areas which eventually become the US. And what to all supporters of slavery has in common? They were all politically, economically and socially CONSERVATIVE.
I lost my patience with ignorant and American-hating bigots who make stuff up to justify their bigotry.
That is what many leftists would tell you. They are wrong, however. Southern pride is not racist. They likely can't even define racism. Confederates were standing up for the Constitution, which the Union was violating. I support the Confederates in that regard. Yup. Some black people are law abiding citizens and contribute to society. I congratulate them for doing so! Precisely.
Everyone on planet earth has some type of racist inside them. It's a culture and environment. Some racism is harmless, some is harmful...but everyone is a racist in some manner. Not one single person can say they've never thought different about another race (whether good or bad). Judging people by race is accidental in many cases, but does happen to everyone.
WRONG. It was liberals who fought against freeing slaves and recognizing them as human beings with inherent rights. It was liberals who formed the KKK, BLM, and Antifa.
I've tried explaining to progressives that the constant criticism of whites in left leaning media, academia, and hollywood coupled with the flooding of Western nations with foreigners is what will summon the boogeyman. You could repeat this experiment anywhere in the world, probably get far worse results. For example, imagine an Anglo version of Ilhan Omar, in an Arab nation, proclaiming that "This is not going to be the country of Arab people".
I am NOT a racist... just because I support my own tribe doesn't mean I hate someone who are not in it. I have no difficulty distinguishing between hate and belonging to.
Obviously none of those things "made" you a racist. You were a racist way before. That's the reason why those things bother you. Educated people are not bothered at all by difference in cultures. People who are informed do not attribute violence to skin color. So no. Don't blame those things. Blame the fact that you did not receive a proper education.
If he's right.... sorry. I almost always fall for those things. Which is good for you. Means you played your role well.
Losing compassion or patience or both are not racist, neither is assumptions about the race of a criminal based on a preponderance of data about certain crimes. Unfortunately this is the world we are living in and worse yet, the left have created the division that currently exists in the US and blame it on racism. It is they that have always exploited people of color for political gain. It is they who are inviting the masses from south of the border to come here. They promise them all sorts of free things in a cynical attempt to some how turn these people into Democrat/Leftist voters. The left doesn't even see them as human beings, what they see is millions of votes coming across the border. It is the left that has fomented the violence and hatred toward law enforcement and race upon race relations in the US. It is the left that agitates after any instance of perceived police brutality, often falsely magnifying the situation vilifying police and creating volatile conditions. No you are not a racist, one cannot be considered be a racist for being frustrated. I believe that you are like most Americans that wish that we could all get past all of the lies and manipulation and become a whole nation. America was a much better place after the civil rights movement but the left has utterly destroyed all that was gained since. The civil rights movement was legitimate and righted what was wrong for so long. In the time since we have be subjected to one bogus protest after another that never amount to anything but create a lot of problems in their wake and for what? It has always been the left's game plan to divide and conquer that this was how they would seize power. They think people have forgotten that these same tools were used by the Bolsheviks and Maoists. America is a different place these days, people are a lot more educated and interested in politics and America. The left still insist on propping up these unworkable socialist schemes with equally old and useless candidates who have nothing but old ideas. America has had it's fill of the lies, the BS. I think that all of us that still believe in America, regardless of party, race or gender or anything else could do more for America by getting together over a few beers than all of these tired old corpses up on the stage with their dead ideas. If we want real change then it is going to have to be us, all of us against them.
No culture should be excluded or minimized in America in any way but it is in no way bad that America culture is the dominant culture in America. Come to America to become an American.
Would you say that blacks are inherently more violent or hispanics are inherently less prone to assimilate than other races because of their genetics?
